"I went for the F1 Event. Hotel is 3 stations (stops) always for Shanghai Circuit and approx a 10 min walk from Anting Station.

"This Holiday Inn actually adjoins the Hualuxe Hotel (both properties are owned by the IHG group). When you arrive, you check in at the Hualuxe reception area. A buffet breakfast is served on Level 1 of the Hualuxe property; guests also have access to the swimming pool on Level 3 of the Hualuxe Hotel. "Personal at the hotel does not talk English so it's difficult to communicate. The air conditioner of the room didnt cool the room enough, it didnt go below the 21°C so on hot days it's not conveniente.
Other than that room is clean and nicely located, my stay was pretty good.

"Thermostats didn’t work. Room temperature reached to 28C. Front desk suggest to provide a fan - I was shocked to hear that. Upon refusing the fan option, changed my room. New room - window wouldn’t close so you can count how many cars passed by. In the morning AC automatically changed to heater and I woke up due to hot room. Old and hard to operate thermostat. Room size although they call it king size bad room was terrible. No sitting spot to sit and put your shoes on. Breakfast is below...

"Hotel is located right inside a beautiful park. Breakfast is awesome and offers a lot of choices, hotel staff is super friendly and helpful.
Only the gym could offer a little more exercise options, its basically 2 treadmills and 3 different weights.
Only con in my opinion:
It is difficult to get a taxi. Especially as a foreigner without access to AliPay or DiDi (Chinese Uber). Hotel staff will order you a taxi but it takes a while."
