"The villas are spacious, and have good layouts - their bedrooms, bathroom, living area, and terrace. The washing machine in the unit is a plus. The villa that was given to us smelled moldy. While the pillowcases looked clean, the pillows themselves were heavily stained and smelled really bad; so did some towels. "We had a perfect week at Villa Belle Plage end of January 2026 - The quiet location right on the beach is excellent. Although it is not a private beach, due to the boulders on either side, it is almost only used by guests staying in the bungalows. - Bertrand was very helpful and always available. He also booked the taxi to the ferry for us, so we could be sure that a taxi would actually come. - The bungalow was very clean and had everything we needed. "Nous avons séjourné 2 semaines dans la maison Luana, avec ma famille. La maison est parfaitement située sur l'île pour l'explorer en entier (avec voiture) : deux routes traversants l'île à proximité, plusieurs take away très proches, non loin de l'aéroport sans que ce soit gênant (nous n'avons entendu aucun avion même si nous les avons vu)... Le jardin, la terrasse avec vue sur la mer, la petite plage en face de la maison, étaient un vrai régal. Le contact avec Luana était vraiment très facile...

"Die Unterkunft an sich ist recht schön und verfügt über 3 Schlafzimmer mit Badezimmern, Küche, Wohnzimmer und 2 Terrassen. Leider liegt die Unterkunft auf einem Berg. Die Nachbarschaft ist laut. Wir wurden regelmäßig von den Hähnen gegen 4-5 Uhr morgens geweckt. Es war recht laut. Der Transfer zum Hafen (5 Min Fahrt) hat 10 EUR pro Strecke gekostet. Sollte bei dem Zimmerpreis als Serviceleistung mitangeboten werden. Ich würde die Unterkunft nicht nochmal buchen "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Coral Strand Hotel, the location and beach were excellent. The Asian restaurant food was great as were all the staff. We have to mention the standout staff member Shihan (guest services) who went well beyond his remit when we encountered a problem with our first room and subsequently a cancelled fight with the need for extra night’s stay. His professionalism, knowledge, understanding and efficiency made it all worry free – Thankyou. Superb hotel, beach, location and staff."

"The setting of the hotel is wonderful with easy access to the beach. Our room was wonderful with excellent housekeeping service, the room was in pristine condition every day and we were well looked after. The meals, the choice, quality and range were outstanding with excellent service. All staff were helpful and went out of their way to help us and attend to our needs, they were friendly and professional and made me special vegetarian meals. The atmosphere and ambience were perfect. The front of house staff were also brilliant. A wonderful hotel, a wonderful stay with wonderful service. Highly recommend."

"The location, facilities, pool, and restaurants on site were outstanding. I want to highlight the great work and help by the Gecko Bar staff especially Praveena and his colleagues. The housekeeping crew especially Samri were great and really made the trip enjoyable. The pool was fantastic. The pool staff was always helpful and professional. The Beau Vallon beach is the best for swimming, sunbathing and sunsets. Truly a great experience, I recommend the property. Again Thanks Praveena at the Gecko Bar."

"We stayed here for 2 nights for our wedding anniversary in the junior suite. The hotel itself is modern and luxurious. All areas were kept neat and clean. The room was amazing with a great sea view from the balcony. Breakfast was varied and of good quality. The staff at the hotel were amazing- very attentive and friendly. Special mention to Tharindu who met us at check in and was very attentive and helpful throughout our stay- offering suggestions for dinner plans, and for his kind gestures making our anniversary even more special. Would 10/10 recommend this place! "

"The staff were very welcoming. The pool was clean and comfy loungers around the edge. The food is EXPENSIVE! The best value for money is happy hour menu 6-7pm at the pool bar. The bus tour to Victoria is also very reasonable. (Water & guide provided). Rooms comfy & great A/C. Beautiful beach right across the street."
