We had a great time! We had cousins and grandparents, and everyone had enough space. The kitchen is amazing, and the AC is awesome. The kids loved kayaking and canoeing. Henry was really responsive, and any hiccups we had were solved by the property manager.
The property was amazing, large kitchen well laid out. 2 refrigerators so lots of space to keep food and drinks cold. Lots of place to have conversations. We had my Dad's EOL ceremony there so there was a lot of family. One shower was broken but that was not too big a deal as there were plenty of other ones. The deck was a little rough but was not too bad.Rooms were great! Beach was ideal for kids. I would stay there again.
Only bad thing was low water pressure, but everything else was amazing. Great place for a gathering. Very spacious, lots of areas for games, great big table for a nice family meal, lots of water activities, nice beds. Would definitely go back again.
My extended family and I had a fantastic stay as return guests. The cottage is very well equipped with everything we needed for visiting, recharging, large family meals, and lots of enjoyable water and outdoor activities for our entire family from children to grandparents.
We had an outstanding stay at Eagle’s nest. We found everything that we needed. There were so many things to do at the spot for all ages. We enjoyed cozy family time. Our host was very prompt in responding to whatever question we had, even at late night.
Fantastic place for a larger group as there are so many places to chat and relax. Lots of options for activities both water wise and indoor. The kitchen is wonderful to work in with lots of space, it's well stocked with dishes and cutlery. Would certainly rent this place again should we need a large place for a group.
We stayed at the Eagles Nest for a week. There were 5 adults and 5 kids ranging in age from 3 to 15. There was plenty of space for all of us to sleep, eat, and hang out. The lake was great and the location was amazing!
Was good and room for the 10 of us. Found the heating in all locations our biggest challenge. Also a helpful binder for the renters with all the information would be more than handy and a comment book to fill in any helpful hints.
Cottage was great…shower upstairs not working & key was missing to treadmill but everything else was good. Henry is very responsive & replies to messages immediately
We had an excellent time at this cottage. The interior is beautiful and very clean. The water access and the boats were so much fun! For the kids and the adults. We had campfires most nights. The kitchen is very well appointed and having 2 fridges was a big bonus. We will be booking again next year.
From the entrance, driving beside a channel that connects the lakes, we knew that this was going to be a wonderful weekend. We enjoyed so many things, but especially the number of bedrooms and bathrooms could easily accommodate 12 of us, the kitchen was spacious for prepping and cooking, the fire pit was huge, the water access on multiple sides of the property was amazing, and the hot tub was a bonus after a day of kayaking and canoeing. I would gladly recommend this place to anyone.
Property has lots of room to stay for a large group/family. Overall property is getting tired on the outside, baths and kitchen are great and updated. Poor water pressure and a hot tub that was not available for use.
We were a large group of 15 (with adults and kids). The cottage is clean and very well stocked for large groups. We really enjoyed the easy access to the lake and the number of kayaks and canoes that were available. They had plenty of lifejackets of different sizes as well. The host and property manager were easy to get a hold of and were very helpful. We look forward to coming back again.
We had a fantastic stay at the Eagle’s Nest. Stayed with three couples, 4 kids and dogs and everyone had plenty of space to be comfortable. Each couple had their own full bathroom which was incredible. The kitchen is huge and well-stocked with utensils, pots, pans and appliances. The sun room with the indoor grills was great and that huge table in there made an awesome evening board game table. The water was about as good as Muskoka water can get. The kids loved jumping off the dock. The provided lifejackets, canoes and kayaks gave us plenty of water activities to keep us busy. And that hot tub! So nice to relax in at the end of the day. There are a few minor things that need some attention from the property manager but communication with Henry was always quick and easy and he was very friendly and helpful with anything that we needed. We will definitely stay again! There were a few
The cottage was perfect for our 4 family vacation. Adults each got a room and the kids flaked out in sleeping bags. Cottage was a great size although starting to show it's age. Perfect in that we weren't worried all the time about kids wrecking things. Plenty to do around the outside. Kayaking, canoeing, hot tubbing and fishing. Everyone had a blast.
The location is amazing, the pictures don’t do it justice. The locals were very nice and friendly members of my group had spoken to lots of people while on the provided boats. Henry was a great host and was very understanding and helpful with special requests with my group. Henry responded quickly and I have nothing negative to say about him or our experience as a whole. We made many great memories on our trip and we hope to visit again!
5 Star Experience!
My extended family really enjoyed our stay at tea lake cottages. The property was very well equipped, had everything we needed and as advertised. Fantastic cooking setup with more than enough space for dining, lounging and visiting, and four updated bathrooms. Wonderful for swimming and boating too. Fun for all ages. The property owner was also very easy to communicate with and was responsive to any questions.
The views and fishing were absolutely incredible. The property itself was very nice and the host was very responsive. The washer and dryer were only accessible from an exterior door and when we tried to use them there were clothes in the dryer and tangled up in the lint trap so we ended up not using it. There were also a few shorts in the electrical so several lights and fans weren’t working. After I notified the host he seemed very willing to address my concerns but it was a short stay and nothing that made the stay uncomfortable.
The lake is beautiful, slowly gets deeper as you go out quite far. Fun to see the boats travelling through the channel to the river. There was lots of space in the cottage, many amenities indeed. Well stocked linens, towels, kitchen necessities. There were many items outside that are broken and have not been removed, Some have been replaced but not others. The property manager did come to fix some things while we were there, once they were known to him.
We had a great time during our stay for New Year.
Property is spacious, with enough space to entertain 8 adults and 4 teenagers. Large kitchen with all the appliances, a lot of prep space, 2 fridges, enough dishes, cutlery, etc.
Large smart TV's upstairs' and downstair. Teens could play all their video games.
Plus pool table.
Right on the water.
Beds are comfortable.
BBQ in the enclosed terrace on the 2d floor was very useful and convenient. I guess in summer this room will get a lot of use as a main dining area.
Cottage is great for 3-4 families.
My family and I (there were 12 of us in total) had a wonderful time at Henry's cottage. Beautiful cottage and beautiful location. Lots of games and water toys to keep us occupied, and the little beach into the lake was a great entry way.
There was only one (little) hiccup...check-in was a bit delayed as the cleaners were still working on the cottage. We had arrived early so we were okay waiting until check-in time. However, once check-in time arrived, we had to wait for them to finish and to move their vehicles. To be fair, it wasn't a long wait, we just had nowhere to really park until they left. But other than that, our stay was great!
Henry was very communicative and did check in with us to make sure we were having a good time. We would definitely stay again!
