"I've been driving by The Shoe for over 40 years and finally took the opportunity to spend a weekend there with life-long friends. It.Was.Fantastic!!!! It's cozy, cool, creative, and full of history! We were thankful for rainy weather because we did not want to leave! "Absolutely gorgeous view/scenery, extremely clean, very comfortable. Enjoyed the welcome wine and Pellegrino! One parking space adjacent to house. While there was overflow parking just down the street, would have at least liked 2 parking spaces right at the home."

"Stayed for 5 nights. Was pleasantly surprised. However, when I went to extend my stay by two days, I did so by going through the hotel itself. I paid 2/3 of what it cost me for 5 nights for 2. That’s on me though. I enjoyed the experience, room was nice but the toilet leaked from the base. (Nothing too bad)"
