A lovely two night stay, which included a sunset drive and a full day out in the desert which was made very interesting, fun and pleasant by Enos, who was extremely knowledgeable about the environment. On both occasions, we had tables set with white cloths, chairs, good cutlery and crockery and we sat on comfortable chairs, all of which were set out on kilims. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were comfortable and clean. The only thing that would prevent us from returning was the road from Swakopmund to the Lodge, which is no fault of the lodge. If you can, fly in!
Exceptional! I did a lot of research before deciding on Hoodia. This is near perfection. Wonderful staff, stunning location, excellent food, and stylish decor all pulled together thoughtfully. The customer service booking was also superb. While I booked via Expedia, I was also in touch directly. Other lodges were not helpful in answering questions. Stay at least two nights and add a third if you want some time to relax.
Tolle Lodge.
