Beyond our dreams!
Words honestly cannot describe how absolutely wonderful this villa is. The pictures in the listing look fantastic and yet they don’t do it justice. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. We had thought we might do a little bit more in the surrounding area, but the villa is just so comfortable and so beautiful that we only left it once during our stay. And if you know spa treatments, you do not want to miss having the ladies from the spa come and provide all sorts of lovely, massages, facials, hair treatments, scrubs, etc. Every detail was attended. Our precious cook made delicious meals each day. She chatted with us to determine what we might like to eat and then went to the market each day. She always coordinated with us to make sure the timing of each meal fit with our preference and schedule. Our precious housekeeper, equally as helpful, made sure our rooms were well prepared day and night. And though not often seen, the gardener kept the grounds looking beautiful every day, and the security guard helped us feel very safe day and night. Though, the area seemed very safe with or without the security guard. And last, but not least, our driver was always accommodating, and got us to and from the airport as well as to Lovina to watch the dolphins. My biggest regret is that there are no more stars for me to give this villa. I believe it may be the best VRBO I have ever reserved in all my years of using them. Thank you for such a fabulous stay!

Wonderful experience
The property was beautiful and well kept, the rooms were spacious and each had a view of the lovely pool area. The bathrooms we each unique and gorgeous. The Sunrise and the Ocean views from the hillside were quite relaxing. I'm running out of superlatives! I can't say enough good things about the house staff and driver, each of them went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and having a good time. Between the wonderful food, the Balinese language lessons, and the sightseeing suggestions that was guaranteed. Special thanks to Hery for driving all over the island taking us places while we all slept and snored. I would add that this isn't a "party" house, I'ts about 3 hours from the airport over the mountains, It's a great location to relax. If you plan to hang out in Ubud and party in clubs all night this might not be good location for you since it's 2 hours from Ubud over some "please dont let me get carsick" roads. I would 100% return here, my family and I had a wonderful time.

We arrived at Villa Banyan for the last few days of our trip to Bali and it was an absolutely blissful way of finishing off our trip. Firstly the staff are fantastic. Mrs Ariani cooked for us wonderfully and nothing was ever too much trouble. Heri was always on hand to drive us on both short and longer trips, and the car is a significant step up in comfort compared to a standard Bali taxi. The rest of the team keep everything spotlessly clean both inside out and are friendly and always willing to help out. Finally when we had a minor medical emergency, Pram the manager was immediately on hand even though it was late at night. Then there's the house itself. Wow. Beautifully finished and maybe even more spacious feeling than even the photos show. Real luxury. Finally we found the location perfect. It is incredibly quiet and peaceful and the views are just good for the soul. The beach is a few minutes walk and there are a couple of nice restaurants there, whilst Lovina is only 20-25 minutes away. A new life goal is to return some day! Thank you to all for our wonderful stay.

Great service, beautiful location
The owner, Mr Thomas, was very helpful, responded to questions quickly, and even offered recommendations of local attractions worth visiting. The villa staff were exceptional. The cook, Ariani, is a treasure. She prepared for us a range of local dishes, while making adjustments for several dietary needs. She would even answer our questions about North Bali and the local culture. Heri was a fabulous driver. He always looked after us and was always available when we needed a long or short trip - and offered some suggestions on daytrips. And housekeeper Komang was always courteous and kept the villa spotless. They also helped recommend local restaurants and made bookings and organised transport. The villa itself is as beautiful as the photos. One thing that the pictures don't do justice to is the view. Surrounded by lush greenery, with an elevated view of the ocean, and a backdrop of mountains - paradise indeed. It's a long drive to get up to the North coast from the airport, but it's worth it. It is the ideal location if you want to be away from the built-up touristy areas down south. But keep in mind that means a bit more isolation and the need to use the car to get anywhere. Our group would definitely recommend Villa Banyan.

Amazing Home
Our family loved this beautiful home up on the hill. The views were lovely down to the sea. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Arrianie(spelling) made our family of 8 wonderful breakfasts and dinners. She would have suggestions for meals and ask what we might like to have. Junior and Harry also very helpful. We look forward to returning to the lovely Banyan house and gardens! Thank you🙏

Bali Oasis
We so very much enjoyed our stay. Coming from a modest living style, we felt like royalty here. If you’re okay with a few bugs/animals (mostly cute geckos), this place is bliss. Every corner of the house was designed beautifully and the staff were very polite and Ariyani made DELICIOUS food, our favorite food in Indonesia! Thank you all for the amazing memories!

Beautiful villa in lovely setting
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely villa. The staff were excellent and the location afforded sea, rice field and Mountain View’s. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing, pool centered vacation. Distance and traffic realities to hot spots like Ubud or Semiyak make those difficult for day trips, but we did several local/semi local excursions (temples, markets, villages, snorkeling and diving) that were fantastic. The staff at the villa were very helpful in planning the excisions and the on site cook was excellent, and very affordable. Six people ate three home prepared meals (Balinese and North American or European) for approximately $40 Canadian/day. The cook shopped daily at local markets so everything was fresh and delicious. A nearby restaurant for two dinners was also good. If you’re looking for Balinese hospitality and a laid-back experience in a lovely setting, we would recommend Villa Banyan without reservation!

North Bali Paradise
I Love this property. The views and the building are amazing. It’s probably one of my favorite places I have ever rented (we travel a lot). The pool is huge and the house is a great layout. Did I mention the views are awesome. There were 5 staff - cook, house keeper, couple gardeners and a security person at night. The staff is very nice and accommodating, the cook is very nice but food is average. It’s cheaper to go out but convenient to have food made at the villa as it’s about 20 min to Lovina for more “tourist” oriented restaurants. We had a scooter so not a big deal. Another criticism, would be the gardening and stuff seemed to be pretty weak for having 2 gardeners. But I think that they need someone to tell them what to do and it would be more of an issue for the owners and their beautiful house than renters. On the flip side the big trees where shedding leaves constantly and they fought tirelessly. They must have picked up leaves 5 times a day. It was much appreciated. Last negative is the towels and stuff are a bit cheap and rough. Seems prissy as I right it but think cheap hotel or old hotel pool towels. All that being said they are minor compare to the bang for your buck with place. Oh and it has 200 degree killer views and no neighbors. I would highly recommend the villa and will stay again if in Bali. If you like the Kuta party and surf this is not your place. If you like a super cool peaceful north side beautiful house with great hangout areas and (last time) amazing views this is your place.

Best Stay Ever!
This was the most impressive stay we have ever had. The property is as good or better than the pictures. We will absolutely be back. The home beautiful. The pool phenomenal. The location and views are great. This is the quieter part of Bali, still you can visit the mountains, waterfalls and incredible snorkeling. Ariani is a great cook and is very conscientious about using your money when shopping for your meals. If this is available book it.

Everything at this rental exceeded expectations. The photos don't do the site justice. The staff were professional and highly competent. We loved every minute. Since this was my first trip to the South Pacific, here's a list of things I wish I had known before I went: 1. Mr. Thomas, the owner, is exceptionally competent, organized, and timely. Emails are returned within hours. He even helped arrange a birthday cake for my son on the day of our arrival. Thank you. 2. The cook is very frugal with your money. She will purchase only what you request. Ask her if you need extra snacks or fruit at the house. She can also teach you how to make coffee. Bring your own Nespresso coffee capsules if you'd rather not have Balinese coffee in a French press. The capsules are expensive and difficult to obtain on the island. There is a Nespresso machine. Unless otherwise arranged, the cook arrives around 8 am and departs after dinner is cleaned up. Beer can be delivered cold within minutes by phone call. The cook can help with this. Wine is expensive and imported from Australia. 3. Massages can be arranged easily at the house. Going rate is about 150,000 IDR per hour. :) You might want to consider it. 4. As this is near the jungle, there are bugs, small snakes, and spiders. The house staff is happy to help with anything you don't want to deal with. Blessedly, there were relatively few mosquitos. We had an occasional ant bite, but really we suffered very little. 5. The security guard stays the night near the car port. He checks the property every hour or so. If you are interested, there is a flying fox (fruit bat) that roosts at night in the car port. So very cool. 6. It's a long drive from the airport to the house (around 4 hours), but once you are there, everything is within a 60 minute reach. The area is authentic and rural. We snorkeled off of Menjangan Island and saw coral reefs to rival "Finding Nemo". We mountain biked around the West Bali National Park (strenuous but rewarding). We went on the Mayong Cultural Walk of the Rice Paddies with Putu and Ria (What's App +62 823 4071-9179). Highly recommended. We saw and swam the Aling Aling waterfalls. Spectacular! 7. "Bali Belly", or traveler's stomach bug, is a real thing. Don't drink anything with ice in it outside of the villa. Of course drink only bottled water. We loved our stay here. It was affordable, comfortable, and relaxing. We hope to return.

Fabulous Villa
Villa Banyan was extraordinary! The booking process was simple, and the owner was great at answering any questions we had in great detail. The staff was phenomenal and extremely attentive. I would highly recommend this villa if you are looking for a beautiful location away from all of the hustle and bustle of the city. It was perfect for our two families.

Paradise in Paradise
What can I say, a fantastic experience all round. I think one would struggle to find a more perfect villa - certain one of the best I've experienced. Capably managed Ariani and Suryana my family had a fantastic time over a two week period. Suryana is just the nicest person you could ever meet and Ariani is wonderful cook and caring individual, both consciously but at the same time subtly ensuring your stay is as comfortably and relaxing as possible. The villa is staffed around the clock, however done is a way that allows you to spend time with family whilst personnel drift in and out over your day. On the one side you have the experience on being pampered whilst being given ample space to enjoy a private holiday. I commend Thomas and his family for creating a paradise in paradise per my title. I highly recommend people to give Villa Banyan a go. I do not need to explain the setting, the pictures give a perfect representation of what to expect.

Fantastic villa, fantastic service, wonderful stay
We have just spent a wonderful time for 2 weeks (Aug./Sept. 2018) in Villa Banyan. Already before our trip to Bali, we were fascinated by the villa and its extremely friendly and reliable owner, Mr. Thomas. We are two couples, around 55 years old and we have a handicapped son of 20 years in a wheelchair. When we arrived, Villa Banyan exceeded our expectations. It is very much groomed and tidy and it was a pleasure to walk through all the rooms to decide with of the bedrooms we would choose. The Villa is very well maintained and everything is working perfectly. It is a Place where you can enjoy every single minute. We loved the luxury and tranquility of our home. Ariana is a great cook and she certainly is one of the multiple highlights of the Villa. Suryana is the housekeeper who takes really good care of the place and who is always around, even if you don’t see him. Not to forget the driver who is very helpful, the 2 gardeners who know their job very well and finally the security man who is on rounds every night. One day before our departure Ariana together with Suryana and the driver made their masterpiece by helping us to get to the hospital because of the sudden fear of a retinal detachment in the eye of one member of our group. For our son Villa Banyan was perfect. There are only 5 steps at the entrance. After that, the villa is more or less completely wheelchair-accessible. Suryana even provided a plastic chair for our son to sit under the shower. Time passed by much too fast and we could easily have stayed longer in this exceptional villa. We have been in many villas before, but this one earns a top ranking, also because we have never ever experienced such a perfect service in any other villa before. On the day of our departure breakfast was ready even before 6:00a.m. in the morning. We want to thank all the staff of Villa Banyan and also Mr. Thomas who was always very quick in answering all our questions and giving good information. Marc

Stunningly Beautiful, Amazing Luxury
We had an amazing trip to Lovina, staying here. First, the location is spectacular. You are about 200M from the beach with only rice fields between you and the water. The beach was nearly completely free of tourist and only some local families there on our many walks down the drive to the water. The house was unreal. One of the most beautiful homes I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. Each room with a breathtaking view. The small touches, such as the fountains in the outside showers were amazing. The staff was by far the best part. Not only were they exceedingly friendly and helpful, but they quickly learned our family and were able to anticipate our needs. For example, we liked to get up and swim first thing in the morning. Watching the sunrise from the pool was a great luxury. The team realized we did this and would have the pool chairs setup and towels laid out before first light so when we got out of the pool everything was easy. Meals were great, they were really helpful with our two year olds. Day trips were greatly enhanced by freely shared local knowledge. And the team has no problem humoring my attempts to try every new (to me) tropical fruit I could get my hands on--many of which I had no idea how to clean or eat. The family is excited about a return trip to Bali and couldn't imagine staying anywhere else.

Villa Banyan is amazing- peaceful and beautiful
We were impressed again each day of our stay by the views of the sea over the rice and marigold fields and grape arbors. We definitely would give five stars to the large bedrooms and baths. The pool was also wonderful. We were not a large group (2 couples) but greatly appreciated how well laid the villa would be to accommodate much larger groups (including children). The best part of our stay at villa was by far the staff, who unobtrusively took excellent care of us throughout our stay. In particular, the lunches and dinners at Villa Banyan were among the very best we had during our three week trip to Thailand, Cambodia and Indonesia. Finally, the owner was extremely helpful in helping us organize our visit. We are already planning when we might return to Villa Banyan.

Wonderful Stay at Villa Banyan!!
My wife and I just finished a wonderful 4 night stay at Villa Banyan. Everything about this Villa is excellent and it is more beautiful than any pictures can ever capture. The entire Villa staff is amazing. So friendly and helpful. The Villa property has breathtaking views of the ocean and rice fields below. The Owner was very responsive to all our questions since this was our first visit to Bali. We absolutely loved our stay at this luxurious Villa!

Sehr netter und professioneller Kontakt zum Vermieter von der ersten Kontaktaufnahme bis zur Rückzahlung der Kaution. Hilfreiche Informationen werden vor der Anreise per Mail verschickt. Selbst vor Ort wurde nachgefragt, ob alles unseren Wünschen entspricht. Transfer vom Flughafen nach Ume Anyar hat einwandfrei funktioniert. Die Villa ist wunderschön und grosszügig! Das Personal ist herzlich und hilfsbereit. Wir durften schon mehrere Villen auf Bali kennenlernen, die Villa Banyan steht unangefochten mit grossem Abstand auf Platz 1! Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis stimmt zu 100 Prozent.

From the very first email enquiry to the very last minute of our stay in this Villa I can only rate as a five star experience. My emails to the owner were answered promptly and thoroughly. From our pick up location in Seminyak and the transfer to Banyan villa through to our outings with Sumarta went brilliantly well. A man with such knowledge and information on what to do and where to go. The villa was always kept brilliantly clean by Ariani and Suriyana. They were always there to greet us with a smile and can do attitude. Nothing was too hard for them. Ariani's cooking was so very, very good we found it difficult to go out for dinner. Tasty meals by a wonderful lady. The gardens at this villa are beautifully kept and the secure feeling that you have someone looking after you each night gives you peace of mind. The views take your breath away and the bales are wonderful for getting away and losing yourself in a good book. The infinity pool is always clean and a welcome sight. I have been to Bali many, many times over the last 15 years and Villa Banyan is one of the best Bali has to offer. Highly recommended and would give some resorts a good run for their money. Definitely going back.

Unforgettable experience!
My husband and I spent 5 nights at villa banyan while on our honeymoon in Bali. We had the most amazing time and it was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. The only regret we had was not staying longer! The villa is absolutely spectacular- beautifully furnished with an incredible infinity pool. The views over the ocean and rice paddies are simply amazing and provide wonderful opportunities for sunset and sunrise viewing. The staff at the villa are all extremely accommodating and friendly and helped to make our stay the memorable experience that it was. We stayed in 5 star resorts and hotels during our time in Bali but villa banyan surpassed all of them. We will definitely return!

VILLA DE TOUS LES SUPERLATIFS
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour d’une semaine à VILLA BANYAN. L’Architecture de la villa est superbe et surtout très fonctionnelle. Ses équipements sont de grande qualité, Les jardins sont magnifiques, la vue dominante de la villa est époustouflante Le personnel est compétent et d’une grande gentillesse avec une mention spéciale à la cuisinière qui nous a fait de merveilleux repas. Nous recommandons vivement cette villa de tous les superlatifs. Nota : Je tiens à préciser que j’ai déjà passé presqu’un an à Bali dans nombreuses et différentes villas et qu’à ce jour VILLA BAYAN est la plus belle.

Die Villa entspricht zu 100% der beschriebenen Ausführung. Die Lage mit dem Blick über die Reisfelder, und dem endlosen Meer, ist unbeschreiblich schön. Die Personen, die einen das Leben während des Urlaubs maximal versüßen, argieren im Hintergrund, sind jedoch für jede Empfehlung und / oder Kommunikation da. Die Auswahl an Speisen ist mehr als ausreichend, die Kosten, im Vergleich zu den Restaurants in der Umgebung, sehr günstig (für 3 Personen haben wir ca. die Hälfte bezahlt). Die Qualität der Speisen war ebenfalls sehr hochwertig. Die etwas abgelegte Lage wird durch den Fahrer, der jederzeit kurzfristig verfügbar war, beseitigt. Unser Aufenthalt (in Summe 6 Nächte) war von Anfang bis Ende perfekt. Vielen Dank und viele Grüße

Villa absolument conforme au descriptif, très belles prestations. Piscine à débordement comme intégrée au paysage. Le personnel est très sympathique. Nous y avons séjourné du 6/11 au 23/11/2108 - pas de pluie, la mousson était en retard ainsi que nous l'avons constaté dans plusieurs pays tropicaux. Intégrez dans vos plans de visite que la circulation se fait à la moyenne de 30 km/h.

Unsere Familie (5 Erwachsene, 2 Teenager) genossen einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war promt und umfangreich. Die Villa hat eine super Lage, ist neuwertig und sehr gut ausgestattet. Der Service durch das Personal ist komplett, und beinhaltet: Zubereitung aller gewünschten Mahlzeiten, tägliche Reinigung, Wäsche waschen, Flughafentransfer und Ausflüge im bequemen Van mit Fahrer. Das Personal haben wir besonders ins Herz geschlossen, nett, unkompliziert, fürsorglich und sehr zuvorkommend. Die Positionen wie Einkäufe für die Verpflegung und Fahrspesen, werden jeweils am Vortag besprochen und für die einzelnen Tage bar in Landeswährung beglichen. Das ist für das Gebotene aber immer wirklich Preiswert. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl und werden wieder kommen. Deshalb 5x :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) WICHTIGE INFO ZUR VORBEREITUNG DER REISE: der Pass muss noch mindestens sechs Monate über die geplante Ausreise hinaus gültig sein.

Wir hatten einen super tollen Aufenthalt. Die Villa hat alles was man braucht und das Personal ist äusserst hilfsbereit und unglaublich freundlich! Auch die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war unkompliziert und sehr angenehm. Herzlichen Dank!

A beautiful villa : the view , the pool .............. really incredible. the Staff is amazing. Many thanks to Ariani and Suryana : they are friendly and helped to make your stay unforgettable . Rice field tour and balinese Music dance at the villa are really a must . this villa is perfect !!!!!!!!!!!!
