"Cabin was so cute and cozy. We loved the view and how quiet it was. Husband caught two bass and a crappie and released them back. FYI dont trust google 100% Haha. We went to eat and it took us down an unpaved road up the mountain to go eat at cafe 136. We were in our truck at least. We laughed about it though. Little adventure. It was a very narrow bumpy ride. Our advice. When leaving the road to the cabin. Go left to get to town. We would stay here again. It was very relaxing stay and Rock city was beautiful! "

"A wonderful mini vacation, from the minute we arrived until we left. Balpha was waiting to welcome us and explain all the little things that host usual fail to explain. "Beautiful cabin in a quiet neighborhood of this cute little town. It was easy to get around to places like Cloudland Canyon, DeSoto state park, Little River Canyon, etc. The cabin was comfy and worked well for us with the 2 1/2 baths. The beds were comfortable. I slept well every night of our stay. We especially loved using the fireplace on the screened in back porch. Be aware that the Mentone restaurants are generally open on the weekends. But you can always take a short drive to Ft Payne or other nearby towns for evening meals. You can also count on the Mentone Market for ready made sandwiches, salads, and fresh made pizza. It was a relaxing stay in a beautiful area. "
