The location is the best in Myeongdong, you won’t find anywhere better for location perspective. The hotel is very old and run down, there’s a very noisy portable air conditioning, there’s NO WIFI in the hotel, the staff was nice and helpful, hardware wise, I wouldn’t stay again.

The hotel is conveniently located for shopping and dining. I also like that everyday the staff is cleaning our room and restocking our supplies. The front desk staff were very helpful. The only negative thing that I like to mention is the poorly constructed bath tub. It’s flooding the washroom each time we take a shower. But overall, we had a nice stay!

The location was really good and the cleaning stuff nice and very friendly. The floor looked very old and a bit run down. We had no wifi for the whole week and no one on the receptions really seems to care about that. The air conditoning in the rooms was terrible. The controll was not working and the temprature switched during the night betwenn warm and cold. First you sweat and then it got really cold. I couldnt slept well a single night.

Terrible hotel, poorly cleaned, if there was any dirt on the floor, it was there. One day they didn't put any towels and the next they didn't even clean the room and I had to ask for towels, they looked at me as if I was stealing those old towels. The walls were very thin and the cluelessly people in the next room (this is not the hotel's fault) were screaming all night. But there are good points like the location, close to everything,

Good location hotel in Seoul

Front desk was very helpful, service guy was good when the toilet flash is not working, he attended to us immediately. Room is clean. The only confusing part is the reception that is on the 17th floor.

Excellent hotel for a short stay. Very efficient and the staff is polite and helpful. USP of the hotel is its amazing location and connectivity. Only inconvenience is that while arriving difficult to reach 17th floor reception. Once you have card, then no issue.

The area was very conveniently close to all the shops and food stalls, the hotel was pretty hard to find because it is basically within another hotel building, but we eventually found some sort of signage inside the building. The beds were so hard, didn’t have the best nights sleep and shower pressure was poor. All else was decent, overall average stay but great location close to transport (subway and bus).

The staff was very kind during our stay. Room was cleaned daily. Beds were comfortable. It does get warm as there is no a/c you can control inside the room. Theres a fan and you can open the windows. For early june it wasnt so bad. It was around 25c inside the room.

We got the Family Room with 3 beds. It’s clean and a great stay for a decent rate. We are mostly out walking the busy streets of Myeongdong so I can only say that it was a comfortable stay with coffee in the morning and lots of Space for a luggage. We had a decent tub and amenities like slippers. Just follow their website on how to find the 17th floor Maintenance Elevator. It’s the main door next to the BUS stop, not the no.6 subway Exit. Look for Mohenic Sign and find the room ‘lobby.’ It’s true they’re sharing the rooms with another hotel name /owner

Great views just can get warm!

Amazing location since you simply go downstairs and your in the heart of Myeondong. Our only little issues with the place is that it has central AC and if you are used to cooler temperatures it can get warm especially in summer. The refrigerator also does not get that cold as well. But the views are amazing and the staff was beyond great!

The hotel was pretty confusing at first because it’s the same building as Migliore Hotel. Overall, the location is great. It’s literally just few steps from the subway station, Myeongdong underground mall and Myeong-dong street. Keep in mind that the elevator sometimes takes few minutes wait because it’s shared by 2 hotels. Few steps from restaurants, shopping, and convenience stores. And on the lobby, there’s a currency exchange with good rates. That’s where I exchanged my CAN dollars cash to KRW won. PS. There’s a WOWPASS machine in 3rd floor (Migliore Hotel reception desk).

Quite disappointing

Hotel is kind of sharing with other hotel named Migliore hotel with separate check in room. It's a small room check in area. We asked for extra pillow but not available. Air Cond was too warm and cannot adjust the temperature, opened the window to get cooler air but the road was noisy. Amenities were limited. The only good thing was the location. In general, quite disappointing.

Mohenic Hotel Seoul Myeongdong – 5-Part Review This review covers five key aspects of the hotel: location, room condition and amenities, housekeeping, general observations, and the check-in process. 1. Location The hotel is conveniently located next to Olive Young, near Myeongdong Station exits 5 and 6. For accessibility and convenience, the location is excellent. One drawback is the elevator—it tends to be crowded, and you may need to wait through several rounds before getting in. An alternative is to use the elevator just outside Olive Young, which is often less crowded. 2. Room Condition and Amenities The room interior appears outdated, with a design that seems over 30 years old. The toilet was clean, but the bed was not. One of the rooms had bed bugs, and the carpet had not been vacuumed. Two rooms were booked—one on the 16th floor with wooden flooring and a more modern look, and another on the 10th floor with carpet. The 16th-floor room also had cleanliness issues. The trash was not emptied, and the bed sheets were not changed during the stay—lipstick stains noticed on day one remained until day six. 3. Housekeeping Housekeeping was inconsistent. Basic cleaning tasks like trash removal and sheet changes were not carried out. Bed bugs were present in one room, causing visible bites. If staying here, consider bringing an extra layer of bedding as a precaution. Cleanliness rating: 0/5. 4. General Observations The hotel is functional but has maintenance and cleanline

Wifi was out during our stay, was a little shady as we had to take a service elevator to the office which was on a total random floor with no details on how to get there. Was also in a room hidden in the back of another room. Felt more like a hostel upon entering the office.

Felt like a scam almost

Location was the only thing good about our stay. WiFi is not provided in the rooms & our room itself was terrible - stained carpets and walls, mattress with broken springs. From the photos & price we thought we were treating ourselves to a nice hotel stay but we would’ve been better at a hostel!
