Very stylish, fresh and clean. Lots of helpful staff looking for ways to be friendly and helpful. The location is excellent with its close proximity to the train station and the mall/shopping. Best of all, even though it rained alot during our stay, having the covered skywalk connecting to the train station and mall was a life-saver, keeping us out of the wet weather and away from the car/truck traffic during our entire stay and all the way to and from Incheon airport … we basically had everything we needed the whole time we were in Korea “under one roof”!

Comfortable room & very quiet with good view, despite the overhang for our room. We could still see the beautiful Hangang! A great shower and so many dining options outside of hotel in and around yongsan station as well as the fantastic I park mall. A convenience store on 2nd floor was great! Yongsan station is connected to hotel via a covered walkway and so it is easy to access all Seoul via subway & buses. The airport shuttle, 6001, leaves from bus stops about 5 min walk from yongsan station, so about 10 min from hotel. Overall an excellent location and beautiful hotel even though some construction nearby, although it was not too disruptive. The staff are excellent and friendly.

I enjoyed my stay at this conveniently located hotel. My only complaint is that I was not allowed to change my reservation by reducing the number of days by one due to my changed schedule, so I had to pay for one extra night.

As a first time visitor to Seoul I can not say enough about how much every member of the ibis hotel helped make our stay easy and fun. The concierge service was outstanding. From hooking us up with wonderful tours, getting taxi to the door and making sure they knew where we were going, and on the first night there helping us recover a cell phone left on the airport public bus. The quiet competence of all the staff, the good restaurants and room service and very comfortable rooms made the trip to Seoul easy and fun for all.

2 Nights at IBIS

Pro – comfortable room, Yongsan train station was nearby. Convenience store on the 2nd floor though it was always packed with people so hard to navigate. Great shower and bed was comfortable. Staff at check in were very nice. Con – I really didn’t like the guests at the hotel. Lots of tour groups, there was also a casino attached. More rude tourists than any other hotel I encountered on my 11 day trip. Restaurants were way over priced and the bathroom open to the bedroom would be weird if anyone were staying with me. None of the chairs in the room were usable for a comfortable sitting spot.

Room Service Never came after the first night, after the first night room was made up only at 4 pm. We had to get clean towels and water downstairs at the reception ourselves. Really not the kind of service I would expect in a four star hotel. Rooms are very small.
