It’s very hard to find the hotel. The rooms is clean. The slippers hurt so much to wear, it’s unbearable to walk to the bathroom with them. The toilets are also not just for hotel guests it’s a shared public toilet that anyone in the building can use. It’s not super clean and the toilet seats are very loose and slides around. The kitchen is small but I like the water machine! The staff are kind and through. The shower room looks good too.

Calta’s Hotel

I liked the place because it was economy and east place to stay and added touch close to transportation. Close to Euljiro- 1 and 2 Train Station, ease of taxi and Bus. Shopping Mal and souvenirs close as well of great street food. Office is on 4th floor and quarters was on third floor. No food in room for they have kitchen area to eat and small fridge/coffee pot available.

The location is perfect as it’s near enough central to the main shopping area. The staff were friendly and while there was a language barrier they showed no frustration. As the hotel is in a building with other businesses a couple of restaurants to be exact I was able to meet people. Felt completely safe I smoke and would go outside at 1pm-3pm as I sometimes suffer from insomnia and never once felt at risk- I am aware not everyone may have this experience but for me the location the facilities and the people were perfect.

Staff didn't seem so friendly and accommodating. Wish they were to make my stay enjoyable and comfortable. I would come in and out of the hotel and the person at the front desk always looked stressed and did not give at least a smile or a nod. If you just need a place to sleep, this place is good as it is conveniently located INSIDE the myeongdong shopping street, with lots of dining options outside of the hotel.

Only has public washroom but great location

CONS: The front desk guy is very rude. Always cuts me off when I am speaking. Knocks and comes into the room to turn off AC even if I was still in the bedroom. I talked to him about it but he kept doing that. I even asked if the use of AC is timed, he said no. But he still went in to turn it off, multiple times. NO SHARED WR(Toilet) FOR DORMITORY. This hostel is on the 4th floor of a commericial building. There are other offices in the bldg so you will be using public toilet because they only have wash area inside the dormitory. PROS: Great location. It is in the heart of Myeongdong. Clean dormitory.

Great location near a local market. Close to common transportation. The rooms are very small and there is a slight smell hanging around, but it’s overall a good cheaper place to stay.

Terrible place. I have never seen staff so bad. I saw the guy at the front desk scream and yell and insult at a customer because she wanted help to open a door. Just awful. Do your self a favor and stay somewhere else.

Everything was excellent. The only bad thing was that I couldn't bring friends or family to my room when I paid so much money to stay for 9 nights and 10 days. They have to improve on that, but afterward everything was wonderful.

Worst place to stay over all!! including hotel desk service staff was unfriendly, impolite, and not helpful. One thing good about this hotel is sound proof room. I will never use it again!
