Kawartha Lakes Cottage

Original Kawarthan cottage on the shimmering shores of Kathchewanooka lake.
This rustic cottage will take you back in time maybe to a more peaceful time, with stunning moonscapes, tranquil sunsets and clear blue skies. Although the building has amazing character it is old, also modest But is equipped with everything you need for your stay. Arrive to a meadow that rolls down to the cottage built just steps away from the shore, listen to the loons call and watch the bald eagles soar from island to island. This 60 feet of private lakefront is magical with a deck, a floating dock and fire pit. Trees for shade and also perfect to hang a hammock, Picnic table, with bbq, outdoor umbrella table set, couch set and even a new set of Jo4 Muskoka chairs makes this a perfect getaway. The fishing is world class and sure to impress any angler or just a first timer! The water is crystal clear, The shore is shallow and Sandy - the best swimming can be found off the end of the dock (no diving) Shallow Water! With a great golf corse and winery with farm restaurant only steps away you can cook and picnic or head out for a great food and drink experience- no car necessary!
