Interlude in Provence

What a wonderful stay we had in our Château Jonquier stone cottage gîte! It is ideally located as a base for exploring Provence on day trips — choose any direction! It is a tranquil spot in the countryside yet very close to the magical villages of Séguret and Sablet, while being only 10 minutes from Vaison La Romaine with it’s incredible Roman ruins and myriad restaurants and shops. Frédéric was a warm and welcoming host, and responded quickly to any of our requests. We enjoyed every minute of our peaceful month-long interlude here! Merci, Frédéric!

Traditional house surrounded by vines.

Lovely place to stay. Ten minutes walk from the village of Seguret. Part of a large wine Chateau, but totally independent access and private. Nice terrace, good kitchen, spacious bathroom and comfortable bedroom. Perfect for a couple looking to enjoy the Provencal countryside.

Au calme, dans les vignes avec les oiseaux, proche de tant de beaux villages, une semaine à se ressourcer. Des propriétaires respectueux, un gite indépendant, et pour finir une belle dégustation du vin de la propriété qui porte bien son nom : le Gaulois.

Wunderschönes Häuschen

Wir durften eine Woche in dem kleinen Haus Urlaub machen und haben es sehr genossen. Zentrale Lage von der man schöne Ausflüge unternehmen kann. Restaurants gibt es in seguret und auch in sablet super erreichbar. Der Vermieter ist super nett und hilfsbereit und winzer falls der wein mal ausgeht. Vielen Dank.

Très bon accueil du propriétaire,il vous met à l'aise tout de suite. Le gîte est situé dans un ecrin de nature et au calme. Fréderic est à votre écoute et répond tout de suite à vos attentes. Je le recommande.

Détente au milieu des vignes

La location correspond parfaitement à la description et aux photos. L'hôte et sa maman sont extrêmement courtois et pleinement disponibles. L'environnement est très agréable, arboré, au milieu des vignes mais à proximité des commerces. La région regorge de sites superbes et de villages typiques. Un grand bol d'air sous le soleil de Provence, à réserver sans hésiter!

Séjour oxygénant au milieu de vignes

L'acceuil de Frédéric est chaleureux et malgré son activité viticole il est totalement disponible et à l'écoute de ses hôtes pour leur bien être . Nous avons eu une dégustation privée de ses cuvées , échange trés chaleureux et bien entendu son vin étant de qualité avec ses meilleurs vignes nous sommes repartis avec de belels bouteilles. Le gîte est indépendant du chateau et trés fonctionnel avec sa pierre apparente de pays . Tout était parfait . Nous conseillons vivement d'autant que la région est splendide pour se balader , randonner . Nous reviendrons quand la crise sanitaire sera derrière nous pour le coté culturel et le musées ains ique les festivals .

Ausruhen, Wein genießen

Die Wohnung liegt im Weingut. Man wird sehr herzlich empfangen. Man kann sich sehr gut erholen. Seguret ist ein toller Ort und zu Fuß erreichbar. Frederic macht auch sehr leckeren Wein.

A little piece of Paradise

We did so enjoy our stay at Chateau Jonquier. Frederic was so very kind and helpful. His wine tasting was such fun and his wine delicious. The gite is very centrally located for visiting the Vaucluse villages and for shopping in Vaison la Romaine. We hope to return for longer than a week! Would make one suggestion-would be nice to have a floor lamp in living area for reading. We look forward to returning for a longer stay in this lovely place.
