"De passage dans la région nous avons eu le plaisir de séjourner 2 nuits au Manoir de la vieille douve, un très bel établissement, parfaitement bien rénové, dans un cadre très agréable. Nous avons testé la chambre Olive qui est très bien décorée, spacieuse et lumineuse. "I arrived and the owner wasn’t expecting me even though I had booked earlier that day through Expedia. The room was fine, hard mattress but I like that. A bit outdated and hard worn sheets but I slept really well. I asked about dinner and the owner said yes 7:30. I was sat in reception alone (in the dark as the light kept going off) and served a bowl of pasta with chopped up smoked salmon and cheese, a dry crepe and a terrible packaged flan. "lovely place in the quiet countryside. only 10-15mins drive to the nearest town for restaurants, shops etc.. Perfect if you want to stay away from the traffic/town noise. I was only 30mins drive from Rennes which was perfect. The hosts are very friendly, welcoming and their food is excellent. "
