Coastal Retreat on the Sunshine Coast BC

Welcome to our Coastal Retreat located on the beautiful Sechelt Peninsula. We are a 40 minute ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay and a 20 minute drive once your have landed in Langdale.
Our guest house, built in 2017 is a couples perfect get away. It is located among majestic cedar and fir trees, with a peek a boo view of the ocean. You only have to walk down our driveway to be at one of the most secluded natural beach area on the coast.
The guest house, although only 545 sq ft has 12 foot ceilings, with a wall of windows that make it very bright and spacious. All the floors are radiant heated with separate zones in each room. The kitchen is equipped with new Bosch appliances, including a dishwasher and natural gas stove, micro wave and fridge. There is also a clothes washer and dryer for your convenience. All counter tops are quartz stone, with the island having a seating area for meals.There is a leather sectional couch and a 42" TV perfect to curl up and watch cable,or Netflixs. Wifi is included.
The bedroom has a queen size bed with elegant bedding and a large dresser for your clothes, and there is plenty of closet space. The bathroom has a glass and tile shower. There is built in Bluetooth in the bathroom exhaust fan so you can listen to tunes while you shower.
A 17 by 12 deck is located at the front of the guest house and has a Weber bbq and a natural gas fire pit. See if you can spot the bear as you enjoy the deck.
If you have ever wanted a place in the forest with a view of the ocean, this is it.
Waterfront activities include,beach combing, seal,sea lion, otter, eagle and occasional whale watching.

This was the nicest VRBO we have stayed at! The location was perfect, the ocean was just down the driveway, and there were even hiking trails just down the road. The unit was clean and cozy and had every possible thing you could need in the kitchen. A perfect spot to stay to enjoy the Sunshine Coast. We are already planning a trip back.

A great place to rest and renew

This modern cabin is a great spot for a few days on the Sonshine Coast. In the forest and within a short walk to the beach, it has what you need to take a real break, enjoy the region, and be refreshed.

We had an amazing stay at the Coastal Retreat. It was cozy and has everything you need. You’re close to the water so you can hear the waves, yet surrounded by trees, and sitting by the fire table makes you feel like it’s your own little piece of nature.

Lovely place to stay

This was my second time staying at this little cabin. It’s always very clean and is well stocked with everything you need. Great location, lots of good hikes not far away. Definitely recommend!

Cozy coastal retreat

Modern, clean, well equipped cabin in a great location. We had everything we needed and the hosts were very prompt answering any questions we had. Great shower pressure, a nice bbq and a lovely deck to enjoy. Close to Davis Bay and Sechelt for all your needs and a great hub to explore the area.

We really enjoyed the place. A sweet little gem in the woods from which to explore the coast. Very nice and private. And the beach was wonderful and secluded. Fred was very nice and approachable.

Cozy, Quiet, and Comfortable

Coastal Retreat was spotlessly clean, comfortable and quiet….and the kitchen was the best equipped of any place that we ever stayed at - we enjoyed the quick walk down to the private beach to enjoy sunrises and sunsets. And, a special treat was the heated floors - 100% enjoyable stay!

Beautiful cabin in the woods

We very much enjoyed our stay in this cozy and tastefully furnished little cabin. Everything was neat and in very good conditions. We also loved to sit outside by the gas fueled fire place and having a little barbecue. The tranquil atmosphere under the trees was truly wonderful.

Sunshine Coast retreat

A very clean, modern, simple home in the woods. Nestled amongst the majestic trees of the Sunshine Coast. We were visiting family in the area and this was our quiet evening retreat. Very quiet and comfortable bed for restful sleep. You will not be disappointed if this fits your plans.

A Little Gem

This comfortable and very well-appointed cottage is a gem. The setting is lush and tranquil. With only the sounds of nature we had the best sleeps in the very comfortable bed. Heated floors throughout added to the coziness. There is nothing not to love about this place!

Perfect little cabin

This cabin in the woods was a perfect west coast get away. It was well designed, clean and comfortable with a modern kitchen and bathroom. We had wonderful sleeps due to the quietness and darkness during the night. The location was outside of the town but only 2 km from a small mall with an IGA. It is a great base for hiking and visiting the rest of the Sunshine Coast.

Beautiful Coastal Hideaway

There is nothing not to love about this little cabin. It’s situated in a little stand of trees with views of the ocean, and boasts all the comforts of home and more. Impeccably clean, comfortable bed, extra blankets, comfy couch, and a beautiful and well stocked kitchen. Did I mention the heated floors in the bedroom and bathroom? We didn’t want to leave and will look to stay here the next time our travels take us to Sechelt.

Quiet retreat

This little house is perfect for 2 people. The weather didn’t allow us to utilize the deck and fire pit, or wander around on the beach. Perfect location for our visit with family in Sechalt. Super easy to find, get in, clean up, and leave. Love the heated floors, shower and lovely kitchen. Too many things to mention. Would come here again.
