Clean cozy spot no fire escape route

Very clean . Located close to downtown but to get there its not a quick walk due to how the roads are . Lots of stairs . My concern is where the room is located in the building. If there was a fire you would be history as there is NO Escape route other than breaking a window and then you would be jumping to your death.

Yoda's Swamp Suite

Small room but I knew this before my stay so it was no surprise, what did surprise me was the closet was quite spacious and the bathroom was as well. Overall a very comfortable stay. Vince is a great host.

Stay for SPU fashion show

The bed is comfortable. The shower is modern and clean and the air is fresh. The trees are tall surrounding the cozy room. The kitchen and laundry are very nice though we didn’t use them. The host is very friendly and quick to with a response. And it’s only a few blocks away from Seattle Pacific University! Way better than a hotel!

Nice Simple Place

I loved this place. It is small, but all you need. There is a coffee maker and small fridge in the unit but also a shared kitchen on the first floor. It appears to be newly renovated and was very clean. I was on the 2nd floor (of 2) and there is no elevator (just in case that could be a problem). It is in a nice neighborhood and there is a bus stop half a block away. Lots of restaurants and cute shops, even a Trader Joe's you can walk to! I did not have a car but it looked like there was plenty of street parking. The manager was in touch and made sure I had checked in. It is nice to just walk in and go to your room--no stop at a line in the lobby!

I couldn’t find the place no one pick up the phone

I couldn’t not even get the reservation checked in I called no one pick up the phone then the ark something company called they wanted a deposit of 200 dollars I took the to call my sister who made the reservation for me and they never did. My sister called and left messages unanswered Horrible service and rude people texting me and not helping me

We made an error on selecting Yoda's Swamp. It is not a hotel, but rather an a extended stay guest house for a younger, more athletic clientele, who could drag heavy luggage up two flights of stairs. As we are two 78 year olds with heart conditions,it was not a good match. The room itself was clean and comfortable if very spartan. There was a $47 cleaning fee that made our one night stay more expensive than any comparable hotel. There was an inordinate amount of paperwork for a hotel, paperwork that seemed more in line with an Airbnb. Still if you fit their demographic, I would recommend it. Older and/or feeble people should stay away.

Yoda’s Swamp needs some help

It was disappointing. The room where we stayed was on the third floor and there is no elevator in the building. It would’ve been nice to know this upfront before we booked. So this is not very friendly to seniors who have to carry luggage. We also had trouble getting into our room due to a problem with the key code; also disappointing. We had to call property management to get the key code reset in order to get into the room. Additionally, the guest were required to provide a Roku stick or a Firestick in order to access the TV. We have never encountered this before and any prior hotel we have stayed in. Again, it would’ve been nice for us to be notified prior to booking. On the plus side, the room was very clean; however, the other issues would need to be addressed before we would stay here again.

Well the units hearer was broken and their was no smoke dectector-carbon monoxide dector in the room yet there was one on top of a refridgator in the kitchen and the manager wanted photos prior to sending out a handyman.
