Great Little Getaway

Wonderful Getaway

We had a wonderful time staying here. It was so fun to relax in the morning with the firepit and watch the boats and wildlife. Orcas and dolphins were spotted in the sound. Would definitely come again!!

This place was amazing! The inside was super cute and it also had a great backyard and view with your own private hotub. We had everything we needed to make coffee and breakfast in the morning and all the necessities in the bathroom as well. The Host was so sweet and very easy to communicate with. 10/10 would recommend!

Beautiful and restfull stay

Very clear directions and instructions from owner. Daily check-in by email to make sure it was all good. Loved the oceanview hot tub and the bedroom. Used the fan at night was very quiet. Would go back in a minute. Thanks for being such a great host.

A peaceful hideaway

I stayed for 2 nights. The unit was comfortable and nicely appointed. I didn't use any of the outdoor amenities or cook, so I can't comment on those aspects. The view is gorgeous. There was some airplane noise as another guest commented, but it didn't bother me. Great communication by the hosts. I really appreciated the outdoor lights, since I arrived each night after dark.

Lots of extras

The property is very serene. The use of a private firepit and hot tub is super special. There are thoughtful extras, including a sound machine for sound sleep, two coffee makers, and trash & recycling options. It was very quick and easy to get to Seattle without staying in Seattle. We highly recommend the waterview suite.

The location is beautiful, clean, and private. The hosts are very kind. They are very responsive. The stay was peaceful and refreshing. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! A slice of paradise for sure! We even saw some porpoises in the Sound! The only downside and it's VERY minor. There truly is NOT a kitchen or kitchenette in the property. There is a small fridge, a hot plate and coffee pot but not a sink, etc. that you would call a kitchen. However, again, we didn't really plan on cooking anyway. 5 star location and hosts!

Great jumping off place.

We choose this place for the location being close to the airport. The extra bonus is in the place itself with view of the sound in a neat neighborhood perched on the shores. This is not a quiet place with it being in the glide slope of SeaTac. It seemed the busiest times were early in the morning and about 9 in the evening. The place was very clean a full of supplies. There's a Trader Joes a couple of miles away so we bought drinks and a couple of microwave dinners. The owners would kind enough to bake a batch of croissants that we had purchased at TJs as there is no oven. Overall a very nice place to stay while in the area!

Beautiful location and lodging.

My daughter and I stayed for 3 nights. Ruth made sure communication was smooth and sent us recommendations for things to do, restaurants, etc. The location is beautiful and quiet except for the airplanes going over. Didn't bother us at night to sleep, but as suggested we had the doors open in the evening to cool things down since there is no air conditioner. So every time a plane went over it was loud. With the doors closed it wasn't an issue. The location is not far from the freeway and/or getting into Seattle for touristy stuff. There aren't a lot of restaurant options nearby - have to go about 5 miles to find more than a couple. But there is a Safeway about 2-3 miles away. And that's the whole point of staying here - it's NOT in the city. But you need to plan in advance that it's NOT in the city. With the fridge, microwave, coffee maker, etc it's not hard, just need to be aware. IT'S WORTH IT, but that's the reason I gave a 4 for location. Internet was great if you need to work. Owners were responsive to our requests and we barely even knew they were on the property at all. If we needed something they would drop it off on the porch and text that it was there. Would recommend.

Pre-cruise visit

We stayed the weekend before our cruise departed to allow for adjusting to new time zone and to see the area outside of downtown Seattle. The space was exactly as the ad described, peaceful, quiet, and convenient. Our first time staying in a room attached to someone’s house. We never heard or saw the hosts, but she always answered any texts we sent. Until next time!
