Host was very communicative, the place was beautiful and very clean. There’s a little playground in the backyard that our kids got to play in for a little bit before it started pouring rain. Very comfortable stay 10/10 would recommend!
We are very disappointed in our stay.We had reached out to the owner ahead of renting to let them know that we wanted to serve our soccer team family style dinners at the house as they are in town for the PAC Northwest tournament. We were really excited when the owner said it would be a perfect place for us to do that. Two of us families rented the home together in hopes of having a really excellent space to share. If all you need is a place to sleep and you can bring your own towels. This place is for you. But if like us you plan to cook and eat meals at the house. You will be greatly disappointed. There are only two forks in the entire house. We searched every single drawer and cabinet. I communicated with the host about this starting at 5:00 p.m. and around 10:00 p.m. somebody showed up with a bag full of plastic forks for us. I also express concern over the stove not heating and never received a response back about it except to say that it wasn't broken before. The oven would not turn on. It had been sealed with a child safety lock in an attempt to get the door to close but it didn't work and so the oven would not heat up. There are no measuring cups. There are no measuring spoons and there was only one mixing bowl in the entire house. They only left one towel per person. No extra towels for the girls with long hair. And there were no towels left in the hall bathroom at all. We were allotted three trash bags for our entire stay. There is a drawer next to the stove
Host was great and communicates well. The goal was to take a group of dads out to MTB @ Duthie and the girls went to Seattle to see museums. Positive:-very large and fits a lot of people -Bathrooms are amazing -Theatre room is amazing -Living room is great -Backyard bold to have a trampoline. -It’s a pretty place-Laundry onsite Iffy:-Kitchen is equipped decent. We couldn’t make the oven preheat. We suspect the latching mechanism is not working. It had child hooks on it. We might have been too dumb but it wasn’t obvious. This forced take out meals. You can’t mass cook without oven. The grating on the outside grill made us nervous. -bowls were meh sized. Minor but serving salad was rough -the front door kept unlocking and opening itself.. good thing there were a lot of us. Not so good: -beds beat us up. Super stiff. Loud. None of the guests slept well-AC great. Not good in rooms. -we had to buy a box fan for a coupe of folks who could hear another family in an attached house. It was a little strange but the walls “whisper” I hope we didn’t annoy them. My family’s loud -parking is tricky a lot of extra cars. This isnt isolated. Should call out in listing it’s in a neighboorhood with attached living. Renters: Bring a skillet/bedroom fans/prep for parking /your own pillows/bowlsGreat space for a lot of folks. Pretty every average place. Host is cool though helped fast with a tripped breaker. Didn’t ask about oven help from host. That’s on us.
The house is beautiful and spacious! We loved staying there. The backyard is nice for kids. It has a trampoline, playground and fenced yard. It is close to Seattle and easy access to most tourist spots. The host was very responsive to our needs, very good communication, easy check-in and out. The kitchen was well stocked with all the equipment needed. Extra towels, toilet paper, paper towels and garbage bags were provided. They also provided a crib for us. Excellent place to stay! We loved it!
