What a great place to stay. Great location and easy access to a beautiful Market right on the corner! Cozy and comfortable it truly felt like a home away from home. conveniently short drives to many fun Seattle sights.
Great location, nice neighborhood! Comfortable little house. We enjoyed our getaway and was able to spend a little time with our granddaughter that attends and lives on campus at the UW. Highlight was the neighborhood.
Thank you
My family member and I stayed here as we needed to be at the UW Medical Center bright and early. We both loved the home. It is bright, well maintained, clean and nicely decorated. We both felt very at home here. It has all the amenities and odds/ends needed to have a comfortable, easy stay. The neighborhood is really quiet - easy to sleep and relax. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Seattle - I'll definitely be back myself.
This was our second stay at mellow yellow. Ariaan is very responsive to any needs/concerns. The home is clean and well equipped. It is in a great location and I love that we can easily access the Burke-Gilman trail from it. We have stayed here to visit our kids who live nearby.
Property was well appointed and had everything needed for a short term stay. House was clean. Beds could benefit from a more comfortable mattress or at least a mattress topper. Coasters for the living room would be a good idea. Phone charger bases for the living room and bedroom would be great.
Visiting friends in Seattle for a week. Great location to buzz around the city. We love Metro Market for groceries and enjoyed running on the Burke. Easy to get downtown to Pike Place, stadiums, and local parks. Clean and comfortable house. Great home base! Appreciated the washer and dryer and the window air conditioner units in bedrooms during hot days.
We enjoyed our stay. However, the TV was unusable because it could not connect to the WiFi network and the living room wall heater was pretty noisy. Otherwise, it was fantastic. :)
This cute litte house is in a great neighborhood right next to a wonderful grocery store with the most amazing chocolate chip cookes made fresh all day long. It's right along the Burke-Gilman bike path which takes you to restaurants and even to the large University Mall. All good. Best for us may have been having a washer-dryer.
We enjoyed our stay. Property was very cute, clean, and fit the description. All amenities were included as listed. The only concern was the busy street outside the front door and having a toddler that caused us some concern. The street noise wasn’t too much of an issue surprisingly. My suggestion is if you are staying here with babies, toddlers, and/or small children; I would suggest bringing a traveler deadbolt safety lock to ensure children don’t wander near the busy road.
Fireplace didn’t work, no paper towels, lacked basic condiments and front and backyard needs grooming. Backyard fence broken and missing a large section so would not be safe for young children until repairs completed. Interior of home needs repainted. Washer, dryer & dishwasher worked well. Owner is extremely cooperative, friendly and responsive to texts. Good location, close to market and only 10 minutes to UW.
Overall cozy place to stay. However when asked whether we could check in a bit early and check out a bit late because we have tons of stuffs to move (we are in the middle of our house renovation project), the hosting company charges 35 for one hour, which usually is a courtesy provided by other short-term stay hosts.
The location related to Seattle children’s hospital was great. Very walkable, even in midwinter. The house was great, and easy with a 1 year old. The host was very helpful when we had to change our checkout date.
Only downside was that the listing stated air conditioning, but there was no A/C

Description of home and patio very overrated.Excellent location and floor plan, but lack of general cleanliness a definite issue and poor considering the 'Cleaning Charges' in the rental.

The condition of the house was well kept, clean and cozy. We were able to get around the area easily and it was just what we were looking for. Thank you.
The house was perfect for my daughter and I who were in town doing college tours. Having a driveway to park in was really helpful. The house was cute and clean. The trees in the yard were in bloom and beautiful. Could use a bit of sprucing up, in the bathroom. One thing was that when we got there, we did not see any instructions which would have been helpful give there are separate heating units in each bedroom, a fireplace, the tv, etc. However, on the last day of our trip, I was looking through the bookcase and came upon an instruction manual for the house, that was put in the bookcase in a place you would not likely find it if you were not looking there. Having it on the coffee or dining room table would have been nice.

Disappointing experience but cute house
Our main issue was that the cleanliness of the property was not as advertised. There was extensive mold on the shower curtain liner, dried food was on multiple kitchen pans/utensils, and I had to pick up other people's pet waste. The source of the mold on the shower curtain liner was due to the fact that the bathtub did not drain appropriately and also that the tub spout/faucet was broken.
Our host was initially very responsive. He did send a new shower curtain liner via Amazon but I had to dispose of the moldy curtain myself and install the new one. Then, when we were trying to plan for him to come fix the bathtub, he ghosted us for almost 36 hours, despite me asking more than once if he was still planning to stop by. He eventually responded and we settled on a time for him to come over. He was unable to fix it himself so had to hire a plumber, which he did do immediately.
Overall, it was a disappointing stay for the amount we paid for this VRBO but on the upside, the layout of the house is cute, the furniture was comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked.
