Lake and Mountain Views - 2 Bedroom, 3/4 Bath

Just up the hill from Carillon Point, this lower level, private apartment is in a house in the high end neighborhood of Houghton in South Kirkland. It is one block from a 6 mile trail. You'll love the place with its quiet location and beautiful garden entrance. The apartment is 1200 square feet 2 bedroom, 3/4 bath with large living/dining space, plus a 200 sf private, covered patio space with beautiful views of Lake Washington, Olympic Mountains, and the Seattle skyline in the distance. It has a small, but cute and functional kitchenette with new compact appliances (no dishwasher, disposal). There is a strict quiet hours policy from 10pm - 6 am.

I have one dog that has zero access to the unit, but has free reign of the fenced backyard. He is occasionally active from 6:00 am, but quiet hours apply to them too. He will bark when I come home via the garage and when someone knocks on my front door, but downstairs guests are mostly ignored.

Great stay, prime locale. Quick walk to nice shopping and eating, very centrally located for greater seattle. Very quiet neighboorhood and the front porch was quite nice with the views.

We love it! The house and grounds were so well kept, just like in the pictures. The owner was great, we had all the information we needed before we needed it. The whole area is just beautiful! Great sunset views, comfortable beds, what else can you ask for. We would definitely encourage anyone to stay in this great house!

Great place in Kirkland

We loved our stay at Karen’s place. Very comfortable place with everything you need. The view from the spacious patio is awesome. Location is very convenient to both Seattle and the east side communities. We would definitely stay there again.

Nice stay in Kirkland

Great location in a quiet neighborhood in Kirkland. Easy to walk to waterfront, downtown, etc. Apartment is comfortable and would be an especially nice stay in warm weather as there is a large patio with lots of furniture facing the garden. The apartment is a bit cold and heat is controlled from upstairs so you cannot adjust it. There was one space heater, and we moved it around.

Beautiful property with amazing gardens. Quiet, spacious and clean. Karen had great recommendations and we tried several of them! Will stay here again if we ever come back to Seattle!

Brother week in Kirkland and Seattle

My brothers and I very much enjoyed the home. It is a clean space in an excellent location and the beds are comfortable. Karen was very friendly and accomodating. The view is incredible, with a western sunset exposure. Close to all that Kirkland and Bellevue have to offer.

Our stay and this property was delightful! The space was immaculate and spacious - exactly as advertised. The patio was comfortable and peaceful with a fantastic view of a beautiful garden and Lake Washington! The owner lives upstairs but we barely heard her or her dog. Our stay was fantastic!

Beautiful Garden View

Looking out from the patio you see Lake Washington framed by the owner's garden. Sitting on the patio in the evening, it is quiet and peaceful. If you want to read a book or work on your own novel, this is the perfect setting.The living room is spacious and comfortable with a large flat-screen TV. In the TV cabinet, there is an electronic fireplace that warms the room on chilly Northwest nights. A large dining table and chairs can accommodate a family. While the kitchen may seem small, there are several electric cooking appliances to prepare a meal at home. The washer and dryer in the kitchen help keep up with the laundry.The host provides a coffee maker and Starbucks coffee, plus a selection of snack bars. The bedrooms are quiet and the main bedroom is huge with a big closet. There are supposed to be dogs and chickens but we never heard them.The neighborhood is quite nice with some amazing houses and landscaping. A wide trail is just a few minutes from the property and it is a short walk down to the shore of Lake Washington. We didn't walk to Kirkland village but it's not far. Lots of great restaurants there with a waterfront vibe when walking around.Across the freeway is Bridle Trails State Park with pathways through forest and ferns. A few miles South brings you to the edge of Bellevue. Less than 15 minutes North on the freeway and you are in the wine mecca of Woodinville. Plenty of microbreweries and distilleries are there too.Great place to stay!

Wonderful house and location

Everything is listing is accurate. If you want to be close to everything but be in a family house setting, this is the perfect place. Sunsets are amazing watch from the porch with also a view of a beautiful garden.

The stay was nothing less than amazing. The bedrooms were great and roomy, bathroom was great. We didn't use any kitchen appliances. There are a ton of board games and things for kids to do. Easy access in and out. The landscaping is AMAZING and... the view - I have never enjoyed coffee on a patio as much as I did on this one. Cannot ever forget the view. Definitely would stay again and recommend!
