We needed to be close to Swedish Cherry Hill and this worked well. Close enough to walk. Good thing it was in the mid 60 ‘s. This hotel has no AC. Our room was immaculately clean every day. Had a fridge and a microwave. There is a bunch of casual food walking distance and one up scale restaurant called Stella. Felt safe walking around in the early evenings. Great for the price!

The huge plug in fan in the room is extremely noisy — doesn’t get rid of the humidity in the room at all. The washroom had no soap, so we had to ask for it. I had to wipe all surfaces and it came out really dusty and dirty.

This hotel was fine. The room & bathroom were pretty spacious and had amenities like a mini-fridge, coffeemaker, and a full bathtub. The pillows were hard and lumpy, not very comfortable. The room was pretty clean and I loved the blood orange scent of the provided soap/shampoo. I was on the 6th floor on the side of some rooftop hospital equipment (generator? HVAC?) so it was a bit noisy especially with the windows open. The hotel was a 15-20 minute walk to attractions like Pike Place Market and the ferry to Bainbridge island and the Capital Hill neighborhood, but beware- the immediate hotel surroundings are VERY hilly with some streets having steep slopes and felt kind of desolate. It is also a walkable distance from the Link tram so I was hoping to walk with my luggage from the Link tram to the hotel & back but had to Uber since the hills were so steep. Warning: this property did not have AC (which I was aware of when booked) but did provide two fans that kept the room cool enough for me to sleep, though I generally tend to run cold so don't book this hotel if you need AC in a summer heatwave.

No AC, room was 85 degrees in summer. Thermostat “only there to tell you how hot it is in the room” as the rude front desk person told me. It was so bad I didn’t stay the night and went to the Executive Hotel Pacific that night. They wouldn’t refund me either. Do not waste your money on this place.

Big rooms, good access to things and easy shot down the hill to Pikes Place and everything else. Not having A/C is the missing link to success. I would have appreciated a window unit at a minimum. Some sort of breakfast seems to be standard these days and there was none. Luckily a Starbucks is a couple blocks away.

Definitely an older property, but not a terrible hotel. I don't think I would stay here again as it's not really conveniently located to anything and it's at the top of a bunch of steep hills.

The hotel is in a good quiet neighborhood close to downtown. The exterior is beautiful in its heritage and you can see character in the lobby. After that things go downhill. There’s no restaurant or café. There’s one elevator suitable for 2 people and luggage. The room, although very spacious, was quite dated and didn’t have air conditioning. The bathroom was extremely dated and felt like a converted hospital bathroom from the 70s. Sort a Nurse Ratchet feel. We could also hear the people in the room next door clearly (at 3am). It has potential but needs a serious remodel. The staff were helpful and friendly:)

A great place to stay. The room was very spacious and clean. There were some minor problems like the door on the bathroom not actually locking, the included microwave in the room didn’t work (yes it was plugged in) and one of the head boards for the bed wasn’t even attached was just sitting there. But nothing major. The staff was very friendly on arrival however when asked what might’ve been a stupid question later the response seemed sort of rude. (For clarification we brought a Nintendo switch and tried hooking it up to the tv in the room but it popped up saying it was blocked and to check with the front desk.) When I went down to ask if they were able to allow us to connect it the response I got was, “ we aren’t THAT kind of hotel” in what seemed like a rude and annoyed tone. A simple “we aren’t able to” or even a “no” would’ve sufficed. But oh well it’s fine didn’t really bother me much I was just surprised lol. Beds were pretty comfy and the wifi would sometimes randomly drop connection for a few seconds and I didn’t have the best service (data wise, not blaming it on the hotel it jus seemed to be being interfered with as once I was a ways away had 4 bars) usually only one bar maybe two while in the room. Overall a great experience and a convenient location to stay in if in the area. Would recommend and stay again.
