"Such a lovely home on Lake Bowen! Everything was so well appointed, brand new, and very clean. The furniture was so comfortable we checked the brand to add one of those chairs to our house! The back of the house looks right out on the lake with floor-to-ceiling windows. Two living rooms both with TVs. We caught fish right off the dock with the poles and lures from the house. We didn't have time to get out on the water but the host provides self powered water craft. It looks like the house is situated on the lake in a low wake zone, so we didn't see speedboats zooming by. We stayed here while watching a theee day horse show at Tryon International Equestrian Center - a 20 min drive. And it is convenient to Spartanburg. A great house!"

"We had a 4-day family weekend that included a wedding and this house could not have been more perfect. Very quiet neighborhood, beautiful lake, and close to many conveniences. The house itself was well stocked in the kitchen, a very open layout that was inviting to family members that dropped in through the weekend. Views of the lake from the large sunroom & large porch were perfect!! Didn't get to swim but there is a nice ladder on the dock. BOATERS - The only item I would caution about is Lake Bowen is owned by Spartanburg County and you need a special permit (115hp max size outboard) to use your personnel boat."
