"Carnoustie hotel is an excellent golf accommodation at a very reasonable cost. We had views over the first tee box and 18th green and enjoyed that view every morning and evening. Staff was very helpful."

"I had a two night stay in a double room which was really large and full of light from the bay window. The room was very clean, the bed very comfortable and there were plenty of plug points at easily accessable places. The bathroom was equally spacious with a good shower and lots of surface areas to place toilet bags and their contents. I only had breakfast during my stay but there was a good choice and all brought by extremely efficient and friendly staff which makes such a difference. Y Yes the hotel is very near the railway line and there are frequent trains but despite being a light sleeper, I managed to sleep not too badly at all. If you're worried bring ear plugs and you'll be fine. If I'm ever in that part of the country again I'd definitely consider going back again."

"It's a great venue. There's not much nearby if you need entertainment but if you're happy to create your own entertainment then there's great grounds to explore as well as a beach about 5 minutes walk. The food was great, really big portions."

"Great hotel perfectly located for a Destination Weeding in Fasque Castle. Clean room and very attentive staff including tje owner. Small but cozy hotel, highly recommended!"

"I was in room 4 (single room) where the bathroom was across a 3 foot corridor. This wasn’t an issue really, as I never saw anyone from the two other rooms on that landing, the only thing I did have to remember was to take the door key with me or put the door on the snib so I could get back in! Bed comfortable and room spacious for a single. Breakfast room & kitchen both spacious. Owners welcoming and pleasant. Would stay here again."

"My only complaint was that I only booked one night. I did not want to leave! The ocean view was gorgeous. The room and bed were very comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast had a great variety of choices. The books and games were a nice touch as well. Perfect location as well!"
