Quality Inn Wilkes-Barre near Arena
Our room was large and comfortable with better lighting than is usual for a budget property. We were on the side near the interstate, so there was a bit of traffic noise but not enough to really be a problem. Breakfast offerings were adequate.

Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel Scranton
A big historic railroad train station that still had a lot of old or antique design and decoration. I most enjoyed my 2 nights. The only minus was a Do Not Enter sign when there was only 1 way in or out....., I complained to a hotel employee and it was quickly rectified by adding another sign...., ...
