"Incredibly disappointing service and severe pest issues — Will not return
We chose The Boulders expecting a luxury experience, but unfortunately, the service and room quality fell completely short. Days before our arrival, I emailed the property to request an early check-in (offering to pay extra if needed) but never received a response.
When we arrived early, we were told our room wasn't ready. We spent the next several hours checking in periodically—waiting at the lounge, then heading to the golf course restaurant for lunch—only to be repeatedly turned away. We weren't finally given our room until 4:00 PM.
The real breakdown happened after we returned from dinner. We found a spider inside one of our towels, followed by more spiders on the furniture and sink, and bugs in the bed itself. In total, we had to kill 8 spiders, a moth, and another bug. When I called the front desk to request a room change due to the infestation, I was flatly told they couldn't accommodate us.
For the price point and reputation of this resort, the lack of communication, poor customer service, and unhygienic room conditions are unacceptable. We will not be coming back."
