"Front desk person was sick and proceeded to tell us so but kept talking to us. Room was not very clean bathroom sink area garbage left. Breakfast was still not open at 615. Even though it was supposed to be open 6-9"

"The room was very dirty hairs everywhere toilet had some feces on the edge. The shower did not drain and was dirty. The curtain did not close all the way, and you could see in from outside, walking by, and the mirror placement showed even more of the room. I had to tuck it behind the door for privacy. No pots or pans to cook with on the hot plate. The fridge was nice, the TV was nice and modern, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Something else to note, when we began loading our car around 9 am, both keys stopped working for the room, so we had to go back to the front desk to get them reactivated. Overall, not bad for the price, the bed was clean, and it was right next to King's Dominion you cant beat that view!"

"The room was warm despite the air conditioning being set at 65 It just blew air not cold air Breakfast was not great compared to other lower cost hotels. We will not stay there again Staff was congenial Room was clean"

"We stopped here driving home from Florida to NY. We didn’t plan our stop ahead of time and decided to just drive until we were tired. The hotel was clean but very old, dated and dingy. There was a free breakfast that was average- waffle maker, cereal, yogurt, etc. The woman on staff at the breakfast center seemed annoyed we were there, we got there at 9am and were the only ones there, breakfast was served until 9:30, maybe she had already cleaned up thinking there wouldn’t be any more guests? The front desk was very friendly and helpful. Honest review, I would not stay here again unless I absolutely had to. A step up from a motel but definitely not what I would consider “nice”. We will definitely plan ahead next time."
