I had a great 5 night stay here. Laura, the hostess, is very warm and friendly and makes a great breakfast each morning. The rooms are very clean and cozy, and they are cleaned every morning of your stay. The property is about a 3-5 minute drive from Scicli, and I didn't have a problem finding free parking each time I drove in to Scicli (I was there at the end of September). Sciclic has a number of restaurants and shops, so that's very close by. The property is out Scili and is surrounded by farms. It's very picturesque. I enjoyed going on runs through the countryside. The roads weren't very busy at all, so it was a great place for running. You pass a lot of olive trees, flowers, and you can even see the Mediterranean in the distance. The place is very quiet at night, and it has a gate. I don't think there was much chance at all of anyone trying to break into my car. I used this place as a base to visit various places each day of my stay (Ragusa, Modica, Scicli, Donnalucata, Donnafugata, Marina di Ragusa, etc.). It was easy to just hop in my car and drive off to a new place or two each day. Of course, I had to deal with finding parking and navigating the narrow roads in each location, but at least the parking where I slept at night was super easy.

A parte una incomprensione sul pagamento , il luogo è bello , tenuto splendidamente e il sig. Carmelo è un eccellente e disponibile padrone di casa , il prezzo onestissimo , anzi , rispetto a quanto ricevuto , direi decisamente basso , posizione strategica per visitare la parte più bella della Sicilia , anche se noi eravamo lì per lavoro .
