Rocky Shore Cabin - Flanders Pond

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lakeside cabin. The peaceful setting and gorgeous views made it such a relaxing getaway. We loved starting our mornings with coffee on the deck overlooking the water and spending time in the hammock by the lake. The thoughtful touches made our stay feel especially welcoming. The fresh flowers in vases throughout the cabin were such a lovely touch, and the blueberry muffins waiting for us when we arrived were a wonderful surprise. The cabin was cozy, comfortable, and a perfect place to slow down and enjoy the beauty of Maine. Our host, Ainsley, was very responsive and accommodating, and we truly appreciated her hospitality. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful lakeside retreat in beautiful Maine!"

"What a wonderful week our family had in your lovely home! It has the perfect layout for our extended family of seven. The teens loved being able to have their own space on the lower level and the pool table was a big bonus! Communication with the hosts was outstanding from pre-arrival to post departure. They are very accommodating and really care about the guest experience. The home was clean, better than the property description, and iin a great location to strike the right balance between sightseeing and relazing. The kitchen is very well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, and implements for cooking and baking. We made Maine blueberry pancakes, waffles, and mini loafs, We wanted for nothing during our stay - kayaks, PFDs, chairs for the fire ring, roasting forks for making s'mores...it was all there! We are sad we didn't get to use the steamer pot for lobsters!! Maybe next time. We loved watching the hummingbirds out on the deck. They put on a daily show. I really can't say enough about what a wonderful and peaceful spot this is. A note to future guests - don't forget to look up at the amazing night sky during your stay. There were a million stars and the Milkyway was on full display in the dark night sky."

"We had a wonderful stay at Aspen cabin! The pond is so peaceful and wonderful for swimming and kayaking. The cabin’s location for our outings and visits to Acadia was really nice. We enjoyed the fire pit and the cabin was well stocked and clean. We would definitely return and recommend it to others."

"Nichole was a great host and everything was laid out the way it said in the description. The view outside from the house to the lake with breathtaking very comfortable outside. This Cabin had all the amenities that we needed and work and the outdoor shower was a nice surprise.Tucked back in the woods away from the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor. It was very peaceful and relaxing, and we hope to come back in the future.."

"This charming cottage on the pond was comfortable, well-appointed and full of rustic charm. Great area for exploring Acadia and the surrounding area. DonnellPond is so clean and clear. We enjoyed swimming, fishing and paddle boarding."

"Taylor camp was an extraordinary place. It was blissfully isolated, and secluded. Myself and my entire family enjoyed it enormously. The Taylor’s were very easy people to work with and communicated to us on a regular basis before and during our stay. My only criticism of the property and this really doesn’t involve The property itself is that it was buggy during our stay. On days, where there wasn’t a nice breeze, you could get a little harassed by the flying critters. I don’t know if there’s a better time of year to go, but we will be looking into whether there is one for our next stay."
