Flensburg harbour is a true paradise in the Baltic Sea, with sailing ships, motorboats and steamboats on the pier. During the eighteenth century (under Danish rule), Flensburg flourished as a rum trader, now it is filled with bars, shops, a maritime museum and a lively museum shipyard this port is an exciting place to explore and just relax.

Flensburg harbour by night is beautiful, watching the sun set over the Baltic sea is a wonderful experience. This is also a perfect time to sample a bottle or two of Flensburg's famous beer 'Flensburger', with it's "POP" lid. There is a fabulous Irish pub just by the harbour to purchase this beer and still enjoy the view.

It was Ok, staff were helpful, breakfast was the usual, the whole place needs some love, there was a puddle on the landing on our floor with water dripping through the ceiling. Our bathroom had cracked tiles etc.
