"Hotel was nice and clean. Quite basic for the ££ to be honest - we were expecting a bit more. But as we were there for just one night it was ok. Main feedback would be to have some water available in reception (aside from the welcome bottle that’s there), and that the sofa in the family room was very uncomfortable and the bottom cushion’s continued to slip out. "Nearby shops and food, bus/tram station and tankstations. Breakfast was good. Also nice was an refrigerator in the room. Very good beds. Bathroom was clean. Every day they make up our room. No wifi in room, wifi only downstairs in the hall and bar and breakfast room. Whats missing is something to make coffee or tea. For the rest we have a good time."

"We stay over during the Christmas market at the Villa D'est. The hotel had a great location close to town. The staff were welcoming. All was perfect, from the room size, bedding, breakfast etc. We will definitely stay there again if in Strasbourg. "

"This was a conveniently located medium-budget hotel, a short distance from the beautiful centre of Gengenbach. The staff were very helpful and friendly and I enjoyed my stay there. The room decor could do with a refresh and the shower was a bit leaky, but apart from that, it fulfilled its purpose really well. It is a great place to stay in that, once parked up, you are a short stroll to a selection of fine restaurants."
