The Royal Hotel
"Although an old building and in need of some TLC and upgrading in parts I love it here ( have stayed numerous times). The location is perfect as it’s close to the beach but also the town centre. The staff are always to hand in times of questions and queries."

"Great location and well kept hotel. We stayed in a medium sea view room and had a great stay. The customer service was also very good. The only thing I would skip next time is the breakfast as it wasn’t to our liking. Will happily stay again. Parking is limited and very tight!"

"A lot of steps down to the river and shopping centre or downhill pathways to walk. Okay going down hard work walking back if elderly. I managed both ways with my walking stick but had to have a little rest half way back to hotel. (I’m 81) plenty of parking area & nice areas around to drive to. Worth ..."
