Clean appartment with minor flaws

The appartment in Scandicci was very clean and welcoming. The landlords were very nice and spoke good English. We had no complaints from them although we listened to music rather loudly sometimes. The bathroom is above average and there is even a washing machine. The refrigerator smelled bad in the beginning and there were a few cobwebs but we had a very great time in Florence.

Wij verbleven in appartement Casa dei Nonni. Oorspronkelijk hadden we La Loggia geboekt, maar hier bleek een dubbele boeking te zijn. Fijn dat het opgelost kon worden. Het appartement was ruim, maar zeer basaal ingericht. Onze eigen buitenruimte was op zich prima, maar hier hadden we geen uitzicht op de mooie tuin. Meestal hebben we dan ook ergens anders gezeten. Een groot pluspunt is het fijne zwembad. De eigenaren (een Italiaanse familie van drie generaties) wonen direct naast de appartementen. Ze zijn erg vriendelijk, maar wel vrij luidruchtig. De televisie staat een groot deel van de dag aan met hoog volume. De ligging dichtbij Florence, een paar minuten rijden van een tramhalte, is ideaal.

Beautiful location and kind hosts

Some things in the listing were confusing and didn’t match up when we got there. Overall a wonderful home that you can really relax and take in the views. If you are staying for a long time make sure to get essential groceries like salt and oil etc cause there is none. Thank you again so much for having us.
