We had a restful two nights at Auberge du Lac, including breakfast and a first class dinner. The pool was refreshing and we enjoyed our stay. Staff were very friendly and professional. A small fridge in the room would have been appreciated.

Wir hattwn zwar den Blick auf den See, aber zwischen See und Zimmer war eine relativ stark befahrene Straße. Es gab extra Fenster, sodass man bei geschlossenem Fenster nichts hörte.service und Frühstück war wunderbar.Das Restaurant war leider genau an unseren beiden Tagen (Montag und Dienstag) geschlossen und sollte in Beschreibung herausgehoben werden!

Un lieu enchanteur

L'auberge occupe une place de choix, en surplomb d'un lac. Tout est décoré avec goût afin de créer un cocon fleuri et douillet. La piscine bénéficie d'une vue magnifique et imprenable sur le lac. La terrasse extérieure, abondamment fleurie, est un endroit où il fait bon flâner en toute tranquillité ou savourer un honnête et copieux petit déjeuner. Seul bémol : la partie de la chambre familiale dotée des deux lits simples est pourvue de rideaux qui n'occultent pas suffisamment la lumière du jour, c'est gênant le matin en été. Nous y retournerons en amoureux.

Hotel run for the owners and staff

Well let me start PLEASE READ the full description since I clearly did not.... Having got there after a 6 hour drive we were greeted with an unapologetic the Restaurant is closed tonight and tomorrow night The hotel is in the middle of nowhere but no problem I was offered as a matter of course a pre printed card with addresses of restaurants all about 20 minutes drive away Oh ....by the way the bar is closed and no room service So amenities very sparse on Sunday and Monday so you would think there would be a cheaper rate....No just let people like me book at full price who don’t read the small print!!!! The restaurant at a Chateau 20 minutes away who actually do rooms was amazing We got there at 7pm to be the only there so our aspirations were low but within 40minutes it was heaving This was a great recommendation and will book there in future Obviously this hotel runs around the staff and the owners not the guests In July you would have thought they could make betting arrangements than a 20 minute drive to get a meal Ie A staff rota designed with the guests in mind!! Chateau Bobigneux was the saviour 20 minutes away

A true jewel of relaxation and elegance!

What a beautiful location and the hotel was amazing. Tucked away on a tree shaded lake in the heart of the Ardeche region - this little hotel has everything! From comfortable rooms with a scenic view and elegant touches right down to the comfortable chairs for sitting and admiring the view. The terrace was a magnificent spot for breakfast and the beakfast itself was outstanding - the best we have had so far. A great place to get away from it all and everything done with a touch of class that is sought for but not achieved in other hotels - this one does achieve it! This is not to be missed if you are in the Ardeche region!

hôtel de bonne tenue au bon service-clients

séjour agréable ; hôtel familial de très bonne tenue générale, "assez classique dans sa décoration". chambre conforme à la description, très propre, bonne literie, très "classique" (chambre la moins chère) service en chambre impeccable ; petits déjeuners en chambre très bien, parfait, ponctualité+ accueil général très bien, parfait restaurant de bonne qualité. On pourrait regretter de n'avoir le choix qu'entre quelques menus il serait appréciable de pouvoir aussi choisir complètement à la carte un plat par exemple seulement (surtout le soir) ; ce serait bien d'avoir aussi une proposition de plats bio et végétariens. ambiance décorative du restaurant trop classique à "l'ancienne""pour la grande salle", trop d'éclairage le soir qui "fatigue un peu les yeux". Les tables sont bien espacées (+) mais l'ensemble manque un peu de chaleur et d'atmosphère plus intimiste, alors que le petit salon l'est. Toutefois, les plats proposés sont de qualité, produits frais, bien cuisinés avec des saveurs. service au restaurant très bien, rapide, efficace, attentif aux clients, agréable. Service et tenue générale professionnelle et attentive aux clients au bord d'un plan d'eau agréable (3,8 kms à pied pour le tour), calme environnement calme, la route bordant l'hôtel ne gêne pas (en tout cas en mars 2018) parking fermé, sécurisé dirigeante professionnelle et attentive à ses clients. Merci à toute l'équipe.

Confort Charme Accueil chaleureux.

Très bel endroit.Bon rapport qualité prix. Nous avons été surclassé sans le demander car période creuse. Le restaurant est fermé le dimanche soir mais nous le savions. Proposition de réserver chez un confère excellent repas.
