Pleasantly surprised!

I thought we were just getting a typical room with 2 queen beds but was pleasantly surprised when it turned out to be a suite with a separate living room and a little kitchen so I could have a home cooked meal for the 1st time in a while. I didn’t have to go but my own pan but it was worth it. Bonus was we were right next to the pool so my kids could play easily.

The room was great for the price we paid. The staff was very nice. My issues were more with the other people staying there. There was an adult who stopped my 2 teenage daughters and tried to get them to go to the bar with him knowing they were underage and then proceeded to tell them the girl he was with was on crack. He walked into his hotel room which was next to ours and came back out and shoved a handful of crack in their face and said this is what she is on. We had homeless men come in the side door and charge their phones right next to our room.

Poor

Up keep of some of the rooms that I saw and the one I stayed in was poorly kept. Housekeeping is poor and the cosmetic makeup( lack thereof) is as well needs work. I had to buy cleaning supplies to clean and make it suitable for my son and myself.Keith was of excellent customer service, for some reason I am not able to upload photos but I will not stay there again and don't recommend that hotel.

When checking in the receptionist said I didn’t have a reservation which I clearly did in writing. After showing my res printout she replied “oh, I guess I spelled it wrong “. No apology or anything. When I told her the room smelt strongly of smoke and didn’t have the microwave that was supposed to be there her only reply was that I could have my money back and move out. This was the last thing an 83 year old needed to hear after having driven some 500 miles from Virginia. I subsequently found the microwave under the sink and apologized to the receptionist for my previous error but reiterated that the smoke smell was totally unacceptable. Just to finish off, I awoke at 4:00am thinking how lovely and quiet it was compared to most motels when almost by cue someone started yelling in the courtyard. Needless to say, this was two trips in one: the first and last!.

Pool is not available at all , manager stated they are fixing it but hasn't been available to use in quite some time. Should be taken off website as an amenity due to that being false advertising when booking Definitely not family friendly unless looking to have them around unsafe and dirty conditions

The first room they put us in was not clean and the second room they put us in was not clean. We decided to buy cleaning products and clean the room ourselves. They let dogs stay in the rooms and there was dog poop on the floor and dog food all over the place.

Absolutely disgusting rooms! They smelled, we found dead and live roaches, gross vents & filters, and when we went to the front desk to get a refund a gentleman in front of us handed management a crack pipe that was found in their room! NOPE! We got the heck out of that place!
