cabin in Provence, great location for base stay

lovely cabin for base location for day hiking trips in Provence. We rented car from Avignon. Close to L'Isle Sur la Sorgue (groceries/Christmas market/ restaurants). Marina was very responsive and helpful.

Nice place and friendly hosts

We enjoyed our stay. The house was fine and the garden wonderful. The only downside was the opening hours of the pool 10:00-20:00, because we actually would have enjoyed at late night swim in the heat. We didn’t ask so maybe it could have been solved.

Beautiful cottage amidst natural setting

Property was lovely and cosy . It was comfortable and quite spacious . Only issue was the misinformation regarding ‘ linen provided ‘ on the website . There were no sheets and towels and we had to request for those and then pay extra for linen as well as cleaning fee .

Ideal Location for Provence Vacation

We used the cottage as our base for our one week stay in Provence. If you like the convenience of Avignon area as your base, but prefer a quieter laid back area then i’sle sur-la-Sourge is perfect. The cottage is just minutes away from the town with it’s conveniences such grocery stores and restaurants. The nearby train station is ideal for a day trip into Avignon and to not worry about traffic or parking. The cottage is just a short distance to the villages of Luberon (such as Gordes). The cottage is just a few minutes to Fontaine de Vecluse. Having a washing machine is very convenient and their is a drying rack on the deck. If you are from North America, with this type of accommodation in Europe you bring your own towels and toilet paper. Linens are provided however. Also you are required to clean the cottage yourself or pay €30. Owners were very responsive to messages.

A 5 min de l'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. Location très propre et confortable. Entrée séparée de celle des propriétaires. Belle terrasse et du terrain. Bien situé pour visiter la région. Manque de communication pour l'arrivée. Vaisselle insuffisante. Dommage pour ces 2 points sinon, c'était parfait. La piscine était indisponible en avril, mais c'était indiqué dans l'annonce.

Chalet très cosy, très bien situé, à 5 petites min de L'Isle-sur-Sorgue en voiture. Hôtes très gentils et réactifs. Le chalet est entouré de nature, il ne faut donc pas avoir peur des insectes. Machine à laver très pratique. Les 2 plaques chauffantes marchent bien mais compliqué de cuisiner sur les 2 feux en même temps car très rapprochés. Le matelas du grand lit serait à changer.

Tres bon accueil Chalett correct tout équipe Piscine chez les propriétaires discrets juste à côté accessible. Environnent calme même si on attend la route. 2 ventilateurs et 1 petite clim un peu bruyante mais ça dépanne car le chalet garde bien la chaleur..

Chalet agréable, fonctionnel et très bien situé à proximité de nombreux sites à visiter. L’accueil de Marina et Didier est fort sympathique. Vacances au top dans ce chalet ! Marina et Didier sont très accueillants tout en étant très discrets pendant le séjour.
