"The staff member on reception was excellent - Lauren. Breakfast was good, lots of staff ensuring the buffet always stocked and food was fresh. Bar is dated and house white wine dreadful. Room comfortable if slightly dated, bed comfortable."

"Location is good. Staff friendly and hotel clean. However, on the first night we reported that the bathroom door in our room doesn't shut. We were told the maintenance person doesn't work at the weekend so can't be fixed until Monday. The next day we reported that our toilet was leaking. This was not fixed during our stay. On the last day my sister said how uncomfortable the bed was. I said mine was ok so we lufyed her mattress to see many of the slats were missing. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the cheesecake was warm on the outside and very cold inside so had been microwaved. Its a shame to complain because the staff were all good but surely the management should provide weekend maintenence cover."

The breakfast service was slow, had to wait 15 minutes for a table and other guests were asked if they would allow others to sit with them - too long queuing for quite afew guests. Need more tables and a better system "

"The hotel was lovely and clean, the bed was huge and the bathroom was clean and fresh. I'm a vegetarian and the continental selection was fine but the hot breakfast didn't give me much choice - scrambled or fried eggs, beans and fried tomatoes. The staff were lovely, helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back."

"Had a reasonably comfortable sleep. Room clean and great for a one night stay. Breakfast had a great choice of continental and cooked items. Choice of bread for toast was good and really enjoyed the fresh fruit selection. Exceeded expectations. "

"The flat was excellent! Exactly as described, comfortable, clean and well maintained. Michael was really helpful regarding arrival and check in and even had some breakfast food supplies ready to welcome us! I would highly recommended and will hopefully stay again next time in Aberdeen."
