Absolutely loved our stay at Le Ragnaie! It was even more picturesque and beautiful than the photos available. Set a very short drive from Montalcino, it enjoys gorgeous views of the Tuscan hills, and is even a working winery! The rooms are light, airy and kept very clean. Even the small room was very spacious. The pool is a God-send during these hot summer days and it was delightful just relaxing by the pool. Breakfast offers a great selection of cold cuts, fruit, yoghurt and sweet treats....

A short but very-steep drive down the hill from Montalcino, Il Burellino is a postcard Tuscan hillside hideway with glorious views and brimming with character. Host Fabio hosts a memorable breakfast, including his home-baked delicacies, eggs any way you want them and excellent coffee. Quiet and hosting just a few travellers, this feels like a private Tuscan villa and is highly...

Everything was beautiful.....room, service, dining, facilities and scenery. Truly a wonderful taste of Tuscany. Highly recommended and a highlight of our visit to Italy.

As there was a plumbing problem with the B&B the owner had arranged for us to stay in a delightful apartment in a local tower. She also organised a visit to the associated winery the next morning. Wonderful views over the Tuscan countryside whilst tasting the excellent Brunello wine. The information was provided by a friendly and informative local guide. We would highly recommend a visit to Montalcino

We loved everything about Porta Castellana. Beautiful property, delicious breakfast & easy parking. Annalisa & Duccio were exceptionally helpful with local knowledge of where to dine, buy the freshest local pecorino & try Brunello.
