"We celebrated our wedding here over 5 days with 27 family and friends and we had the most amazing experience. The place is spectacular! It is more beautiful than the pictures can show. Plenty of space for a large group that we never felt on top of each other. Area has many places to explore but you may also not want to leave the beautiful villa! The owners were incredible and celebrated with us throughout the weekend as well. The food cooked by the owners and their team was also amazing....

"Alberico's house is simply enchanting and so is the hamlet of Ponzanello. You really feel like you're stepping back in time (except you have access to all the modern amenities which is great)! "We are so happy that we could stay in this amazing place! Close to grocery stores and the charming little shops with hospitable villagers. We were 15 people; 8 adults 7 children aged 0-13 who had a great time. Wonderful house with 5 apartments with their own kitchens and bathrooms, great space and large pool. The host Flaviano lives in the house next door and is very helpful with everything. DON'T MISS that Flaviano offers three-course dinners for 30€/person (children half price) pizza nights...

"The house was gorgeously decorated and very clean! The views of the valley were peaceful and serene! We were a few minutes drive from a wonderful little grocery store that had milk, butter, fresh bread, and super fresh produce! It was truly an authentically Italian experience! Stefania was always available by text if we had a question. The house was great for 8 people and a 20 minute drive from La Spezia."

"We had a large group of friends holiday with families. We rented the entire accommodation. It was clean and tidy and a great location. The views are amazing. A good communal area so we could all be together for cooking meals. The pool area was beautiful and clean. You do need a car for access as it is quite tucked away in the mountain. "The cottage is wonderful for getting away from it all. Comfy bed, wifi, brilliant host, a varied selection of wildlife and animals! The location is really off the beaten track, the last road to the parking is very narrow with tight bends. We walked down the ancient path to the medieval bridge a couple of times, steep but great views. Very peaceful place, thoroughly recommended."

"We had a small wedding here in the first week of October, and everything about this villa exceeded our expectations! To start, the property and surrounding area is unbelievably beautiful. Barga and Castelnuovo are hidden gems that had great restaurants and sights to visit. The property itself is nestled on the side of the mountain, and has stunning views of the valley. Our favorite was the morning fog that rolls in! The villa itself was perfectly updated, while retaining its Tuscan charm. We were able to comfortably fit family and friends in the individual apartments that allowed for hanging out but privacy also. However the best part of our stay at the villa was interacting with the owner, our wedding coordinator Marie (through Tuscan retreats), and the staff. They immediately treated us like family and were extremely generous! They cooked our wedding reception dinner as well as the pizza night. The food was up there with some of the best meals we’ve ever had, and the service felt like fine dining! They were so understanding and gracious with all of the chaos that comes with a wedding, and for that we’ll be forever grateful.We highly recommend this property to anyone thinking about getting off the beaten path in Tuscany, we certainly can’t wait for our next visit!"
