Alpstay - Smart Hotel Saslong

"This place is close to town and room is spacious and clean, although the TV didn’t work. The Gardena Bus Pass (provided by hotel) was great to have, can use it to get to all places. However, the breakfast closet on the hall way which opened before breakfast time should be made available for people who couldn’t made breakfast to grab some stuff. I grabbed an apple and a cup of juice and got dirty look from a staff and was told that was for on site consumption. There is no pack breakfast to go, it would be nice to let people grab a few items from the closet."

"The staff at this hotel are wonderful. They are very pleasant and always helpful. The spa on the third floor with the infinity edge was wonderful and warm. The food in the restaurant was also very good although the selections were limited. Overall we really loved this hotel and would stay there again."

"Hotel Tyrol is one of my favorite properties in the world. My wife and I have travelled extensively and have found only a few places that combine the casual sophistication of the Hotel Tyrol with the hospitality culture of the staff that makes clients feel like they are guests in a private family home. The hotel is in an ideal location for all the activities that the Dolomites have to offer - and the atmosphere, amenities and elegance of the Hotel Tyrol render it the perfect spot to enjoy the region. It is rare when you find a place that makes you feel as welcome. Additionally, the TyBistro restaurant offers a delicious menu at your fingertips right in the hotel. We hope to be able to return many times in the future."

"Very convenient location, close to all the main hikes, Seceda etc. It appears to be run by a family all together. We really enjoyed the free breakfast, they had everything, bacon, eggs, pastries, fresh fruit, muesli etc. It is served from 7:30-10:30am. They also cleaned our rooms everyday and were very speedy at it. They included shampoo/soap. There is no A/C but we didn’t need it in Sept, we could see it getting hot in the summer though. There is a balcony door that opens up but there is a lot of street noise. The parking was convenient in a secured underground lot. There is a grocery store right next door and plenty of restaurants to pick from that are all within walking distance of less than 15 mins."

"We couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing beautiful place to stay in Val Gardena. The spa area, breakfast, dining, staff, outdoor pools and field with sun chairs were gorgeous. Would definitely stay here again."
