Countryside and town in the Périgord Noir

When you arrive, you think "Where did we end up here?", but as soon as you meet Mr Lucien, the ice breaks. He shows you around the cottage, a totally renovated annex of his old manor house. A living room with kitchen with all the comforts such as an excellent cooker, dishwasher and freezer/fridge combination. The bathroom is spacious and there is a separate toilet. There is also a small storage room where you can store enough supplies for a fortnight. The bed in the bedroom is small (140 cm) and you have to get used to that. But it works, especially as the bedroom and the whole house can be kept nice and cool even in summer. But then comes the climax: the garden and the swimming pool. A very well maintained garden of about 1 hectare that you have all to yourself and the swimming pool of 11 by 5 metres complete this stay! The pool, by the way, is Mr Lucien's pride and joy. Every morning, even several times a day, when the guests are not using it, he checks the water for algae, temperature, purity,... He replenishes water, runs the pool heating if necessary, ensures the cleanliness of the surrounding terrace, etc. A final plus, actually plus, is the location. You stay in the countryside. You have a view of the magnificent garden, the house is at the end of a cul-de-sac, you can hear the birds singing,... Unhealthy, disgustingly dirty and uninhabitable

We arrived at this location and met with the owner and did not unpack or stay there. We have raised a claim (beware that this is booked through a separate agency Herez who once you have paid take very little interest or care. We took pictures and sent to Vrbo and Agency Herez of brown stained pillows, old bed blankets, broken and filthy shower and the whole place is old and tired. Nothing like the pictures on the website. We have tried to claim for a refund and Vrbo just passed us over to the Agency. We booked a Hotel near to the Villa so we didnt have to turn around and come home. So I offered to meet any agency people at the location which they did not, preferring to ignore the emails. I would not recommend this location, Agency Herez or Vrbo.

BonjourJe suis outrée d'apprendre de la bouche du propriétaire le jour du départ, qu'il louait ce pztit logement à 500 la semaine !! Alors que j'ai déboursé 1600 !!! Il m'explique que Homerez doit prendre 12% du prix de son tarif, soit 12% de 500

Très décevant

Je n'ai pas accepté cette location car elle ne correspondait pas à l'annonce faite sur le site : extérieur mal entretenu ( ravalement, gravillons ) , lit pas fait, literie et linge de toilette peu engageants, canapé "fatigué", téléviseur en panne. Tout avait un aspect vieillot et J'ai, bien entendu signalé tout ceci à l'agence Homerez et, malheureusement pour moi, il en est résulté une arnaque bancaire. Vous comprendrez donc que je sois très contrariée et que j'attende ,au minimum, le remboursement des 2390€. Je ne peux que vous conseiller plus de vigilance quant à ce que vous proposez sur votre site. Vous ne serez pas étonnés que tout cela soit entre les mains de la gendarmerie, de mon assistance juridique et de mon avocat.

Agréable et paisible

A 5mn à pied du centre ville de Sarlat et de toutes commodités la petite maison est au calme, a l'abri du bruit et du monde. Place de parking disponible juste à côté de la maison. Piscine privée grande et bien positionnée par rapport au soleil avec un parc arboré de plusieurs hectares à disposition. Hôte gentil et discret.

Idéalement situé, dans un magnifique parc arboré, ce gîte offre le calme et la quiétude à quelques pas du centre de Sarlat. Le logement est spacieux et parfaitement équipé. Magnifique cottage, superbe emplacement

En arrivant, on se dit : " Mais qu'est-ce qu'on fait ici ? ", mais dès que l'on rencontre M. Lucien, la glace se brise. Il vous fait visiter le gîte, une annexe entièrement rénovée de son ancien manoir. Un séjour-cuisine avec tout le confort : une excellente cuisinière, un lave-vaisselle et un réfrigérateur-congélateur. La salle de bains est spacieuse et il y a des toilettes séparées. Il y a également un petit débarras où vous pouvez stocker suffisamment de provisions pour une quinzaine de jours. Le lit de la chambre est petit (140 cm) et il faut s'y habituer. Mais cela fonctionne, d'autant plus que la chambre et l'ensemble de la maison peuvent rester agréables et frais même en été. Mais le clou du spectacle, c'est le jardin et la piscine. Un jardin très bien entretenu d'environ 1 hectare que vous avez pour vous tout seul et la piscine de 11 mètres sur 5 complètent ce séjour ! La piscine est d'ailleurs la fierté de M. Lucien. Chaque matin, et même plusieurs fois par jour, lorsque les clients ne l'utilisent pas, il vérifie la présence d'algues, la température, la pureté de l'eau,... Il remplit l'eau, chauffe la piscine si nécessaire, veille à la propreté de la terrasse environnante, etc. Un dernier point positif, vraiment positif, est l'emplacement. Vous séjournez à la campagne. Vous avez une vue sur le magnifique jardin, la maison est au bout d'une impasse, vous entendez le chant des oiseaux,... Malheureusement, le moustique tigre exotique, qui peut aussi piquer méchamment pendant la journée, vous dérange. Il est donc recommandé d'utiliser un produit à forte teneur en DEET, mais cela ne doit pas vous empêcher de louer ce chalet. La situation est d'autant plus intéressante que le logement se trouve à 15 minutes à pied du centre de Sarlat-la-Canéda, paradis historique et gastronomique. Mais il n'y a pas que Sarlat qui vaille la peine d'être visité, vous pouvez aussi visiter de nombreux lieux *** dans la région en fonction de vos centres d'intérêt. Tout est à une heure de voiture au maximum, la plupart des sites d'intérêt à une demi-heure. Quoi qu'il en soit, louez ce gîte si vous souhaitez passer des vacances reposantes dans le Périgord Noir.

Il y a également une terrasse devant la baie vitrée de la maisonnette mais malheursement nous n'avons pas pu en profité à cause des moustique. Peut-être sommes nous tombé sur année où ils étaient particulièrement nombreux et vorace, mais il vaut mieux prévoir de quoi s'en prémunir.

Super vacances le cadre est magnifique et la piscine au top ! Un propriétaire très gentil et accessible si on a besoin de quelque chose. Si nous devons retourner sur Sarlat nous reviendrons dans ce petit coin de paradis sans hésiter !

Lage sehr gut, Objekt abgewohnt und renovierungsbedürftig.

Für den Preis war das Objekt in einem schlechten Zustand. Das Objekt ist renovierungsbedürftig, die Möbel sind abgewohnt. Es hat aber alles funktioniert. Es gab eine Ameisenplage, die erst nach der Aufstellung von "Ameisendosen" eingedämmt werden konnte.

Très proche du cœur historique.

Nous sommes allés fin Octobre à Sarlat. L'emplacement est impeccable. Au calme, et très proche du cœur historique. Franchement, en 10 minutes max, À PIED, on y est. Nous bénéficions du grand parc du propriétaire qui est tout simplement magnifique. Alors en automne, je vous raconte pas la beauté (d'ailleurs si vous voulez faire des photos de votre famille en vacances c'est le lieu idéal). Notre entrée est autonome. Pas besoin de se faire remarquer pour entrer ou sortir. Le propriétaire est très gentil, très agréable. Il est joignable et rapide à répondre si besoin. L'appartement est très bien. La déco est d'ancien temps POUR NOUS mais franchement, le logement est propre et c'est le principal. Nous avons tout trouvé pour passer nos 3 jours, produits de ménage, serviettes, draps, papier WC. La literie est super confortable et sent le propre. Je ne regrette pas d'être venue ici. Et lorsque ne reviendrons, nous repasserons très probablement par ce logement. La gentillesse et la discrétion du propriétaire a été très très appréciable. Nous recommandons les yeux fermés !

Enjoyable quite accommodation near tourist locations.

Both wife and I had a very lovely time. The villa had all necessary facilities and was comfortable. It is in a very quiet location overlooking a large mature garden and all very private. It's location is only a ten minute walk from the medieval part of town which boasts restaurants, shops and bars as well as beautiful buildings and cobbled streets. The owner and son were very helpful and wanted to ensure we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Superbe séjour dans ce petit bungalow tout confort, mais c'est l'extérieur qui fait tout son charme

Région magnifique, emplacement idéal (10 minutes à pied, à peine du centre de Sarlat) dans un magnifique parc arboré qui garde la fraîcheur, très appréciable car nous avons vécu une période de forte canicule (42 degrés) sans en souffrir. Grande piscine très bienvenue, un peu à l'écart sans vis-à-vis. Propriétaire adorable mais discret. Nous reviendrons très certainement, c'était trop parfait.
