"We loved the design and ethos of the hotel. It was in an excellent location, room was comfortable and spacious, and breakfast, though somewhat limited, was very good indeed.
Our balcony looked onto an internal 'courtyard' which was in effect a public corridor, so we did not use it."

"Nice hotel for a few nights stay. A few issues like the shower head kept falling out of the stand and the pillows were extremely uncomfortable, but all in all it was a comfortable hotel with a decent breakfast, helpful staff and really well situated. Would stay again."

"The staff here are lovely: welcoming and helpful. The hotel is about 15 mins walk from the waterfront, and there are lots of eating places en route.
The decor and furniture in the rooms is dated, but I think this is appropriately reflected in the price. Each floor has a stuffed bookcase with a wide range of books which guests can borrow.
