Recently opened cozy hotel with excellent location. Its proximity to the historic center of Sarajevo makes it an excellent choice for all visiting the capital of Bosnia and Hercegovina. Contrary to many other accommodation places in Sarajevo situated on slopes and at steep streets, this hotel is easily accessible, which is an obvious plus. Rooms are rather small, but very tidy, arranged in Bosnian style. The staff composed of young people is extremely nice and very helpful with attentive attitude to the guests needs. Highly recommend!

I am so glad I booked Hotel Gate of Sarajevo during my short visit to Sarajevo. I was picked up at the airport the night of my arrival by Nadir and upon hotel arrival, friendly Nadina checked me in. This is a no frills hotel but the room was perfect in size with a comfortable bed and I liked the wall decorations of different Sarajevo sights. MThe location is a 7 minute walk to Bascarsija where you immediately see the famous Sebilj fountain. The breakfast offered is decent. It was nice to come back after a day of sightseeing and sit in the lobby and talk to Nadir and Nadina. Thank you for the souvenir notebook and pen. I hope to visit Sarajevo again soon. : )

Did not have twin room as booked and confirmed with travel agent prior to travel. Room so small the bed had to be moved in order to access bathroom. Beds excessively hard, mattresses attached to base making it impossible to tuck in sheets. When moved to different room for the next night, there was no way of blacking out the skylight. Staff were pleasant.

Good location for exploring old town

Good hotel situated just round the corner from the old town section of Sarajevo. Room was nicely appointed and staff were friendly and helpful. Only a 10 minute walk from the cable cars which is well worth it.

Very good location, cozy place

A minor glitch due to overbooking at check-in was promptly solved and this was the beginning of a great experience. Breakfast and wifi excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.

Absolutely perfect

This was an amazing hotel. Super clean, beautiful room, comfy bed, great breakfast, friendly and helpful staff (they called a taxi for me even though I had checked out a few hours before), only a few minutes walk to the city centre for the markets.
