"Alte Tradition is a beautiful property in the middle of Alte village. The rooms are beautifully designed each with its own special touch of theme through the medium of soft furnishings. Impeccably clean, everything really modern whilst retaining cultural identity. We were the only guests on the night we stayed. It felt very exclusive and were made to feel really at home. "Sehr hübsches, liebevoll gestaltetes Hotel, etwas abgelegen in den Bergen aber gerade deshalb ist es ein versteckter geheimtipp. Eine sehr nette Gastgeberin die wirklich Freude dran hat das Hotel zu betreiben, das merkt man unter anderem an die sehr leckeen selbstgemachten Marmeladen die sie zum Frühstück auslegt. Ein süßer Hund und wunderschöne Natur. Es gibt keine 15 Minuten davon ein Aldi und Lidl zu erreichen undan ist in eine halbe Stunde sowohl am Strand als auch in Faro."

"I really enjoyed my stay. The couple that run the place are wonderfully kind and helpful. Its in a great location, especially for someone travelling by bus and train as i am. The breakfast is as good as you can get with plenty of choice and first class ingredients. The couple is very helpful with recommendations and information. Just be careful booking with expedia. It appeared breakfast was included. But you have to be sure it says that when you choose your room. Of course, this was in no way...

"This property was so close to the tunnel and all restaurants and shopping. We couuld walk to the marina or the town center easily. Perfect amount of space and the owners were helpful. Sergio assisted us with extra nights easily and graciously. Will recommend this space to others coming to the area. So clean!!"

"The best place i ever visited, from the time i was greeted, to the time i left. Nice big suite, with a large bathroom, free wine, soda and water in the room. The breakfast was all made from scratch by the owner, fresh baked bread, fresh orange juice, berries, just wonderful, the view is great, beautiful, clean and well kept place."

"This was my 2nd stay here. A lovely place with kind, helpful and local staff. Very well looked after. I was made to feel at home, away from home. :) I like the way they upkeep the portugese algave charm throughout the premises.
