It was a pleasure to stay at a hotel which is excellently maintained. Art, craftsmanship and traditional culture add to the experience. From the front desk, to the dining rooms, and even the fitness center the staff was attentive. Plus the laundry service was excellent.

Where do I begin? The minute we entered this Taj hotel, we instantly felt relaxed: we knew we would get a comfortable perfectly clean room, good food prepared following a strict hygienic protocol, a very pleasant environment due to very well trained team that’s as professional in its efficiency as it is kind and personable. And of course they delivered! From Bharat, of housekeeping, who expertly got our laundry done overnight, and pampered us with care and delightful little decor surprises, to the entire reception and restaurant staff, the well appointed gift shop’s gentlemen, to Pranshu, of management, who miraculously provided me with the maps I had unsuccessfully been looking for in countless places across Bhopal and its region, and provided us with lots of useful information with warmth and genuine dedication, I could go on and on… oh yes, and the magical spa massages that put a smile on my husband’s lips each and every time, leaving him totally relaxed and reenergized! This has been our perfect place to restore our strength, delight our taste buds, inform us about the region’s many fascinating historical places and art and provide us with wonderful lasting memories! Thank you Taj Bhopal’s amazing team! 👍👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️👏👏👏

Do not stay here

The rooftop bar was closed and this wasn’t advised in advance. For the price of this hotel, the availability of the facilities are woeful. The spa was also fully booked. I would not stay here again

An amazing experience

Taj Lake Front hotel was an amazing experience, specially there services and staff !! The gentleman at breakfast service Brijesh took care of us like a family, The lady at breakfast check in was very thoughtful, she went out of the way to organized my daughter’s birthday lunch. Room had a beautiful lake view of my favorite city Bhopal ( where I grew up). Thank you Taj and it’s staff for making our family trip memorable.

A five star hotel with a beautiful view of the lake that is across the street (if you book a lake-view room). Room and facilities are top notch. Food prices are reasonable for a 5 star hotel, and quality is good. They also provide transportation services (car driver) but I found this quite inflated and found my own.

My recent visit to the Taj Lakefront was a blend of picturesque charm and frustrating inconsistencies. The property's stunning location promised an idyllic retreat, but some aspects didn't quite align with the renowned Taj standard. Our check-in, scheduled for 2 PM, left much to be desired. Despite arriving punctually, we were kept waiting with no clear indication of when we'd receive our rooms. An hour later, one room was assigned to us, while the other was only made available at 4 PM. This left our group of friends and family crammed into a single room, significantly dampening our anticipated one-day staycation. The property management's excuses regarding room readiness were implausible, given the ample time between the 12 PM check-out and 2 PM check-in. Further frustrations arose from plumbing issues within the rooms. Despite bringing it to the staff's attention multiple times, the hand shower in the toilet lacked pressure, and the main shower displayed erratic water pressure. Regrettably, the staff's indifference persisted, highlighting the need for improved response time and training. No one came even once to check this issue. Check-out was another letdown, with the staff's tardiness despite repeated reminders. It appeared as though the staff lacked the polished service one expects from the Taj brand. It felt as if untrained local staff had been brought in. To be honest the staff doesn't reflect culture of Taj hotels. On a more positive note, the breakfast team impressed
