When the AC was out so was the power for the whole apartment. It is normal for the power to cut off in this country but it took hours for our host to get it back on when everywhere else did it in a matter of minutes. "I actually did not stay on the property. The owner cancelled 2 days before I arrived to Santo Domingo. I do not know why Vrbo allows owners to cancel only a few days before you are supposed to arrive. They should have given me more days notice on the cancellation. And to make it worse....I had to reach to the owner....otherwise I don't think they would have given me the notice that she cancelled!!!"
