"We loved our stay at the Bambuh Homestay. The owners are kind and easy to communicate with. Everything was organised well and questions were answered easily. The property is a little oasis in the jungle. Our room was beautiful with a lovely patio where we could sit and listen to the rain. It was exactly the restful stop we needed. We had hoped that the balcony would be a place to sit and relax in the morning, but the small chair and table barely fit in the narrow space and the balcony wall too high to see over when seated. The “Mountain View” is literally a view to the top of one mountain, otherwise you look over grass to a few banana trees blocking the view. The front desk closes at 8 and they are the ones that give out WiFi codes,...

"While this is very good value for money and the staff are wonderful, there was no escort to the room or assistance with luggage. The bathroom needed attention to the area around the tub and large ants came out in numbers from gaps in the shower tiles. When staying at country hotels and inns in Thailand, guests should understand that insects etc are part of the experience, as we do.
