Perfect for a family vacation.

The room is really nice and comfortable. The location is very convenient. Katherine was very friendly and flexible regarding the check in and check out time. I highly recommend staying there for a family vacation. The hotel provides transfer which made us feel safe since we arrived at 3 am.

Great location and view

We stayed one night at this VIP Apartment. Excellent room and view at the 22nd floor. Friendly staff and later helped us store our luggages for extended 5-hours before we head to airport.

Quiet on weekends with limited stores open. Weekdays are ideal, near restaurants, bars, stores, groceries, museums and parks. Staff very accommodating . Pool area is a little run down and balcony furniture would be appreciated . Good value for price.

I've stayed twice, the location is great, all the people are very friendly and helpful. If I return to Santiago, I will stay in this place without hesitation. The apartment has everything you need to be comfortable.

This location offers a comfortable and convenient experience. Situated in the heart of downtown, it is within walking distance of numerous restaurants and attractions. The property features a kitchen, allowing guests to prepare their own meals, and the staff is friendly and highly responsive to any needs. While the building is older and may not make a strong initial impression, it quickly proves to be a welcoming and comfortable place to stay.

We liked the service from Rodrigo who looked after every wish. We liked the proximity to downtown , the subways and the grocery store across the street. However the roof top pool was available by appointment only for a fee and never available when we wanted it. It should be free and available all the time. We enjoyed our stay at VIP very much.

It fit our family of 6 just fine, with room for 1 more comfortably. They were able to accomodate our luggage after we checked out so we could make the most of our last day in Santiago. A great space for a family to enjoy downtown together. Bring your own soaps/shampoos etc. Plenty of places nearby to purchase all you need when you arrive. Right between a couple of metro lines and plenty of public transportation available.

Good for staying a few nights.

Works for easy living in the city center only 5 minutes from Moneda Palace. Beware, the rooftop pool is out of order.

End of trip stay

We weren't expecting much because we were not going to spend much time in the apartment, but it was very basic. The hot water must have only worked between certain times of the day because as we arrived late the first night the shower wouldn't heat up. We also found the same with mornings, we had excursions planned and had to be up early so not being able to shower as and when required didn't help. This wasn't communicated and I'm only assuming this was the case with the hot water.

The hotel is very dirty, and many items are in tatters. It is completely different from the pictures I saw online. There are also some self-proclaimed cleaning staff who often ring the doorbell in the morning, even though it is not my check-out time yet. There is no redeeming feature except that it is very close to attractions such as the Plaza de Armas.

The manager was very helpful and the security was great. Not the best place to stay for a night if doing a layover. I got woken up by the neighboring apartment’s dog and people being loud around 11pm and onwards. Couldn’t go back to sleep. Other than that, great central spot for walking around and seeing the nice buildings.

Complicated if you don’t speak Spanish

VIP apartments was a reasonable price for central Santiago, but I wouldn’t recommend it for people arriving late in the evening or those who don’t have a competent level of Spanish. Although reception is 24 hours, it’s a very large residential building and the people on reception didn’t seem to be responsible for dealing with guests! I had to go up to a small office to collect my key and pay. While the staff I dealt with were professional, the context didn’t give me confidence that my booking was “official”. The apartment itself was ok, but looked a bit “tired”.

Apartment looked super nice from the pictures but turned out to be extremely small. The pullout couch was barely a single and did not fit 2 people. There was no wifi. Access to the pool was also restricted and we were not able to use it.
