About this property

1 Historic center apartment, 200 mtrs cathedral

Apartment renovated in 2018, furnished kitchen, has all the utensils to cook, bathroom with a large and spacious shower, with soap dispensers, rooms with good beds of 1.35 x 2.00, sofa with large mattresses quality at rest, heating in rooms and living room (blue color), good quality windows, 70 mm thermal bridge, with double filter glass, for cold and
the noises, and thus ensure a good stay in the apartment. It is the only space in the historic center with all these features.
Good restaurants around.
Pets are allowed, if the apartment suffers any damage and some of the inventory disappears, the deposit will be charged.
Longer stays of a week will be agreed with the reception staff, to make change of sheets and towels, general cleaning of the apartment.

Super convenient

I don’t usually leave reviews but after taking a risk and staying here despite the single one star review that was posted I wanted to offer a different perspective. This property is super convenient. The pictures that are posted accurately reflect the property. And the owner/manager was very flexible with my check in time and the process allowed for a lot of flexibility (I had just finished the Camino and wanted to spend time in the square and go to the pilgrims office so I did not have an exact time to give him that I’d be checking I’m - there is an online check in process and the keys were left in a lock box for me). I would definitely stay here again. And sure, there are fancier places to stay or maybe you rather a hotel but you can’t beat the price and the location is great. The only negative thing I experienced was that I’m sensitive to smells and there was a strong essential oil being used. I opened the windows and it was fine.

Bed covered in plastic and apartment not ready for check in until 3pm

Said check in after noon. We got there at 1pm. Was told we can drop our bags off and then come back when it is ready. Never was told a time when it was going to be ready. After 3pm we got a message saying it was ready now. One of the 2 beds was totally covered in plastic and was very uncomfortable to sleep on. If we wanted more plastic beds like we had throughout the rest of our Camino then we would have just stayed in an Albergue. Heaters were covered with a wooden piece that was screwed onto the front so we were not able to turn it on. Our clothes took 2 days to dry since the dry rack that was over the heater didn’t have any help to dry anything. It rained every day we were in Santiago, and was cold. An option to have heat would have been nice. Thankfully the stove worked and we were able to make some tea. Overall would not recommend and would not stay there again. Millions of options for places to stay in Santiago… don’t stay here!
