Stay in the vibrant expanse of the Amazon Rainforest without sacrificing the comforts of home. Here, the forest stretches all around. At night, the howls of the howler monkeys lull you to rest; at dawn, the calls of the zog-zog monkeys announce the day. On the same property, sloths move slowly among the treetops, while frogs, lizards, and spiders remind us that a forest remains alive because it shelters all its inhabitants. Our house has stable, high-speed internet—the best in Alter do Chão (85 Mbps download, as shown in the image)—making this refuge the ideal place for those who want to work from home, connected to the world and, at the same time, far from everything. The house offers everything you need: a kitchen equipped with an electric coffee maker, air fryer, and water dispenser; a barbecue grill; a space to light a fire and observe the sky; a laundry room with a washing machine; and a hot shower. The house has two bedrooms. The first has a queen-size bed. The second bedroom has been transformed into a hammock area, where relaxation happens in the most traditional Amazonian way. There are five hammocks in total, inviting visitors to live an authentic experience. Located just a 7-minute drive (5 km) from the centre of the village of Alter do Chão (Island of Love), the property has over 3,000 m² of space for you to enjoy in total privacy, amidst the silence and grandeur of the forest. The retreat is also an 8-minute drive (4.2 km) from Pindobal Beach. And for those who wish to go further, local guides from the Prosperidade Community lead visitors to the viewpoint of the highest mountain range in Alter do Chão – about a 30-minute walk. From up high, you can observe the Tapajós River in all its grandeur and the Island of Love. Just 1 km away, a stream with calm waters awaits you, where you can explore the area through a kayak tour. We also connect guests with specialised guides, with an emphasis on local indigenous experiences. We offer a delicious set breakfast separately, as well as delicious vegan cheese breads, always available to be heated in the air fryer/oven.
