The dining room can hold up to 10 friends and family for an intimate dinner party. The ranch style home has been recently upgraded, from brand new furniture and new paint, to the gorgeous new rustic wood floors, brand new chefs kitchen and glass tiled bathrooms. The air conditioning/heating system throughout the house keeps you comfortable anytime of the year. These upgrades will insure a comfortable and relaxing stay. The wood burning fireplace is a must have in the winter. Stay in, go out, Whispering Hills Ranch is close to all the best restaurants in Los Olivos, Santa Ynez and Solvang.
    The pool is wide-open to the Western daylight exposure as the beautiful wine country surrounds the property. The foreground highlights the Santa Ynez rolling hills and paints the blue valley sky with its remarkable rolling green hills.

The property is located close to yummy wineries and has gorgeous views! We had a lovely time wine tasting in the local area. The house was the perfect size for our party of 10. It has a wonderful great room then we never felt like we were on top of each other. The backyard was a great hangout spot to bbq and relax in the pool and or hot tub. I didn’t like that there wasn’t much propane to bbq, so you need to plan ahead and fill the propane tank if you plan on throwing something on the grill. The pool seemed REALLY low on water. Not sure if the pool cleaner hadn’t had the opportunity to fill it but it was concerning. The house offered all appliances and main kitchen essentials. It was also very organized (which I appreciated). Again, it could have been when we visited that the pool maintenance hadn’t been done. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and would recommend it to any group visiting this area! Beautiful home!

Beautiful property with fully equipped kitchen, good swimming pool. We could enjoy breathtaking views at sunrise as well as sunset as the house has both east and west view spectrums We could also enjoy perfect countryside peace and tranquility. We could hear horses neighing and wolves howling in the night The best part about this property is something that wasnt advertised and nobody could think of...they had solar which fed into chargepoint point and i could charge my EV for free...helped me avoid taking extra stops on my drive back

Great Location, Lovely Home

Perfect girls getaway to visit Solvang and nearby towns. The house exceeded our expectations. It was much more spacious and well appointed than the photos and site conveyed. We enjoyed leisurely mornings in the home and ventured out to explore the wineries, shops, dining and scenery during the days and evenings. We would definitely return!!

Amazing quick stay!!

We decided to book a quick trip near Solvang after our big family vacation was postponed last min. We found this home and although it didn’t have a ton of reviews we decided to go with it based on pictures and the fact that it had a pool. The owners were extremely friendly and kept us updated about the situation with a wild fire near the home. We decided to still go through the stay despite the fire, and we were not disappointed. There was quite a bit of smoke, but we still managed to have a great time in the home. There is so much room and they even provide games. Upon check out, the owner called me and said how bad she felt about the fire and that we could stay an extra day if we wanted and even invited us back for another weekday stay!!! We will absolutely be taking her up on this offer and we would recommend this place to anyone looking in the area!

We did not meet or speak to the host at all. She had sent us a couple of e-mail communications prior to our visit with instructions attached.The amenities were generally in working condition except for the Jacuzzi tub which was not at all in good condition with dirty and cloudy water. We never ended up using it. We enjoyed our stay nonetheless.

Whispering Hills Ranch could not have been more perfect for our girls' trip to wine country! The house is beautiful and spacious. We all had plenty of room to spread out, but still cozy up and gather to talk, talk, talk about our days! It's located in the hills close to everywhere you want to be. And the VIEWS! We got in after dark and thought we were lost. We called the owner, and it turned out we'd just driven past it--she was so helpful. The next morning we were greeted by the most stunning views. I'm from southern California, so I'm "used to it," but my friends are from the east coast and they were in awe. We spent wonderful, lazy mornings preparing for days of touring and tasting.Finally, beds were super comfy, everything was sparkling clean and worked perfectly. We could not have been happier about our choice. Thank you so much for having us!

Lovely property - great for our group. On our final day, the yard maintenance people showed up and started blowing leaves while we were trying to enjoy our last hours sipping coffee over conversation. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, but the Teflon pots and pans were badly scratched - I was afraid to use them especially on the baby's food.
