Perfect Retreat
We loved everything about our stay at WCR! Check in was easy, the apartment was so clean and perfectly appointed, the neighborhood was safe, and check out was a breeze. The location was perfect for splitting our time between Sonoma and Napa. Thank you, Jacqui, for having us as guests!

Perfect Getaway Stay!
Everything about staying at the Wine Country Retreat was easy and comfortable. The location was perfect! You’re a quick drive to Sonoma wineries, easy access to Calistoga, and just a 40 minute drive to Armstrong Redwood State Preserve! The host here has literally everything you could ever need and more, the space was so charming! We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect!
This was our second stay at Wine Country Retreat and we are looking forward to next time. The property location is ideal for exploring Sonoma County and for relaxing at your "home away from home". Jaqui is a wonderful host and has provided every amenity you could want. Located in a residential setting, but within minutes to all the area has to offer. Absolutely recommend!

Perfect!
My 17 year old daughter and I stayed 4 nights in this beautiful home and loved it! The space is clean and comfortable and Jacqui was quick to respond to any questions I had. Felt very private even though it is attached to the owner’s home. We felt very safe and “at home” right away. There are no negatives about the home, and I would recommend it to anyone.

Perfect experience!
We’ve been looking for a good spot to stay for extended visits with family in Santa Rosa (we’re from Seattle) and we’ve FOUND it! Jacqui’s place is extremely nice and the private deck is heaven. The place is very well stocked to meet any need, especially the large kitchen. Also loved the location in a safe upscale neighborhood. We can’t wait for our next visit.

Nice Wine Country Hideaway

Great people--great stay--do it agina!
Bright unit and nice deck. As others note, spotless. Owners were interesting, congenial, and available as needed (which was just our request for them to drop by for a visit. Nice, quiet neighborhood with a good trail. Nearby to wineries but, for us, their recommendation to go to the Jack London properties at Glen Ellen (between Santa Rosa and Sonoma) was the real prize for us.

Wonderful Stay

Wonderful home away from home
Very quiet place in a safe neighborhood. Location is situated to enjoy what Sonoma and Santa Rosa have to offer in terms of entertainment. Everything you might need during your stay is available. The deck is wonderful and has a wonderful view.

Cleanest VRBO in great neighborhood
This property is by far the cleanest and best equipped place l I’ve ever stayed in. The setup is very comfortable and you can tell that the owners work hard to help you feel at home. The only thing I will say to note is that this is a guesthouse attached to the owners house, so if you’re not comfortable with that this may not be the place for you. The owners are very friendly and helpful, though, so it personally was not an issue for me. Definitely would stay here again!

Being in a vacation rental that is attached to a main house is not the right fit for everyone and is something that should be taken into consideration when choosing where to stay. The guest unit was the perfect place to stay for my work trip. It was clean, well stocked, and maintained the perfect level of privacy. It is located near wonderful restaurants, as well as all grocery stores, shopping, and all the beautiful wineries in Sonoma Valley.

We stay in short term rentals 4-5 times a year. I think Wine Country Retreat is the cleanest place we have ever stayed. Every detail has been thoughtfully planned and executed. Perfect Napa/Sonoma Experience
The cottage win treat was an amazing place to stay. We spent 4 days in the Napa/Sonoma valley driving to many vineyards, the napa wine train, and hot air ballooning in Sonoma. Highly recommend. Jacqui was an amazing host and we even had the pleasure of meeting her dog Molly ! The cutest little Yorkie and easily one of our favorite highlights.

This is a great location for those visiting the area. A quiet neighborhood that was close to all that Sonoma and Napa offer. An easy drive back and forth to the Napa Valley from this site. We would recommend this location to anyone.

Perfect Home away from home. Jacqui was unbelievably accommodating and so sweet. Her little dog Molly was the sweetest and helped us not miss out Mt dogs so much. Our stay felt super comfortable and safe with everything that we needed and then some. Pictures are exactly as it shows, but it’s even prettier in person. We will be back.

Jacque thought of every amenity, comfort and provision you might need for relaxed stay. A quiet and attractive neighborhood conveniently located made our touring easy Her welcoming gesture of a bottle of wine was a preview of all the touches that allowed us to quickly settle and enjoy a gorgeous area. Look no further!
A weekend girls trip to wine country and our first time staying at a VRBO property! Being our first time using VRBO we weren’t sure what to expect but Jacqui and the wine country retreat far exceeded our expectations! The cottage is very cozy and warm and well stocked with any supplies/toiletries you’ll need! The kitchen had everything you need if you want to stay in and cook! Conveniently located to some fabulous wineries! Jacqui checked in on us during our stay to ensure we have everything we need! Checking in and out was smooth! A fantastic vacation away!
Our time at Wine Country Retreat was absolutely amazing! It is very clear that the home has been designed with love and care. Although the cottage is attached to the main house, it truly felt like our own secluded getaway. We cannot wait to return!

A Sonoma Gem
My wife and I traveled to Sonoma to spend eight days at Jacqui's wine retreat. I cant say enough wonderful things about her home. The home has everything you need to enjoy your stay. We used the well stocked kitchen and grill one night and then would dine out the next night. The home is immaculately clean and cozy. The mattress was very comfortable. The linens are plush. There were plenty of supplies. We even used the wash machine for a load prior to leaving. A bottle of tasty wine was a nice touch. We would travel to Napa and Sonoma daily to enjoy the vineyards. Jacqui is a wonderful host who is a phone call away if needed. She also added a personal touch for my wife that was greatly appreciated. I begrudgingly highly recommend her home, because I wish we could have it all to ourselves. We cannot wait to return.

A perfect base for exploring wine country
I loved everything about this property! It was so lovely and comfortable it really felt like home. Since it’s hard to tell from the photos, I will clarify that this unit is an attached annex of a private house. The entrance to the unit is in the back of the house through the patio doors. The interior is very clean, spacious and tastefully decorated. There’s a comfy bed with sparkling clean linens and a great bathroom. We enjoyed each having our own couch in the living room (there is a Smart TV so you can access your own streaming accts.) The patio was delightful for eating outside or just relaxing (but be prepared, it can be very chilly out there in the morning and broiling in the afternoon!) The kitchen is equipped with all essentials. There is a Keurig with a few pods provided but if you’re a coffee drinker, I suggest you bring your own stash. The property is within a charming residential neighborhood with beautiful views and many walking trails. It was perfectly situated for exploring the wineries of Napa and Sonoma. Located right off of Hwy 12, it is within a half hour drive to many of the main wine towns in both valleys. A shout out to owner Jacqui who has put thought and detail into every aspect of her property. She was also very prompt in responding to all my questions before and during our visit. I appreciated all the “green” initiatives as well (recycling and composting cans provided, solar energy, etc.) There is no doubt this will be our base for any future trips to Napa and Sonoma!
